Tonight is definitely the night of newcomers - every piece is from an artist new to OC ReMix. First up is this dark, ambient piece from Sine. It's chock full o' gurgles, burps, and other deep analog undulations of organic and gastric qualities, with an up-tempo trip-hoppy sorta beat and some gated, filtered + modulated synth lines. Piano covers the minimalist and heavily chromatic melody. Not a lyrical or narrative piece and not one for those who seek clearly definable song structure and linear, flowing melody, but true to the atmosphere of the original and quite a bit creepier. Consider this a post-Halloween ReMix that would have fit right in on fright night as it's spooky with all that low-end effect work and the old-school chromatic horror-film score motif. Interesting, transporting work from Sine, from a challenging original piece that didn't offer too many angles of attack.

Yeah.....I wouldn't go as far as to call this great, but the source tune is reconizable, the beats are done well, and over all, it doesn't last long enough to get annoying. It stays consistant and gives off a little bit of a creepy melody. Sounds good to me.

Kind of drags a little but may be due to some internal conditions. The drum line it well done and the electronic ambiance is nice too but doesn't seem to fit well with each other. The drum specify a rhythm and the ambiance specify an eerie feeling. I would dive the two and to make it sound more complete but its really up to you.

mm I didn't like this remix, maybe I was awaiting something very close to the original song. I think that the instruments of the original song are those who impressed me.

-_- zzz

Not feeling this one at all. It is sonically balanced at least, but is not interesting to me at all. Sorry. :-(

I've got to say, though. This is one of the better Dark Dungeon remixes I've heard.

NOT my thing though.

Wow, this is one interesting mix. I love the percussion that goes with the dark melody and it kind of gives me an image of somebody skateboarding smoothly through a really dark corridor, kind of like in Kingdom Hearts II. Ultimately, it maintains its spooky image throughout. This is a great example of some awesome creativity you got there, Sine. Keep it up!

The techno in this is great! It's nice n creepy, I love the bubbly bass line that comes in around 1:05, the sounds and synths are so cool in this song, this reminds me of AmIEvil's work. I love the ambient effects, the burps

THIS is one song out of the many that is actually suited to having a techno track forced onto it. The original was somewhat sparse, so adding the random techno junk works for once. NO I'M NOT TRYING TO ENCOURAGE YOU PEOPLE TO MAKE MORE TECHNO REMIXES. I'm just saying that it works effectively here. I especially love the beginning tho... mmm... volume control. 6/8

I love this song. It's short, catchy, and fun to listen to. Gave me nightmares of Link to the Past... *shudders*

Sine, this rawks. but its not long enuf. im feeling that theres more to it...which is why you should make it longer and resubmit it. i wont say make it better because this is a longer = better case.

its about time someone remixed this one. props to Sine for doing it well! *hands Sine some props*

...reminds me of the swamp dungeon...and that microwave cleaning cloth-in-a-bag commercial. bloop, bloop.

This song is....neato. Very odd. Some great sounds moving around in this one. One of the most different mixes I've heard, and this is a good thing!

8O This one was an eye-opener...But with all the gastric noises, I figured it should have been a remix of "Inside Jabu-Jabu" more than a theme from Zelda 3.

For those who remember the Jabu-Jabu level *shudder* there were a lot of those gastric blurbing indigestion noises...

Personally I thought it was great, shoulda been longer though I agree...
