  1. Just a random question out there: Is there anyone who owns C&C3 (and possibly the expansion) able to mention the state of online? Does it exist? Or does it fail horribly like EA.

Not that I'm interested in it, but I'm just curious as to how loyal fans are to EA games, and how far EA actually 'supports' their games.

You know. I have yet to play either online. Don't know why. Didn't appeal to me or some thing.

  2. On a different note, and as a matter of curiosity, is there a particular kind of gun that anyone could recommend for the shooting game in Westcliff? I can't seem to get 1st place on it. I always get 150 and 160 points with my (can't remember exact name) multi load crossbow. I have so many of those dang dolls now lol.

Best is the flintlock pistol. Because it is single shot and reloads almost immediately. I beat the challenge with that type of gun. With multishot guns. The reload time is a bitch. Flintlock reloads as fast as you can swap to the next head shot.

Took me a while to get 1st prize too. But the dolls come in handy to trade for the other 6 if you have live. Have fun doing that though. But the trick for the shooting range is get as many head shots as fast as you can. The 3rd round is actually easiest to do so as they are closer together as well as nearer to you; making them bigger targets. Practice flicking the control movement stick and quickly shooting for the head shot.

P.S. Holding the Y button down is a bitch on the hand. My fingers were sore by the time I got the first prize.

  3. Wouldn't give a crap about EA. C&C3 was well done despite a minor gripe of being TOO FAR ZOOMED IN. >.<

But as for RA3. It's crap. Just a title released to milk the series to death. Graphics are childishly horrid, almost every thing can go on the water (wtf is the point of that?) and the tech tree isn't really great.

It's like they packed a pile of shit. Slapped some breasts on it and went "OMG OMG OMG YOU MUST BUY, IT'S RED ALERT YO!"

Not happy with my favourite command and conquer series being destroyed like this.

  4. I didn't like the turret rifle. The reload time is shit and comes at the worst times. Mass of hollow men rushing towards you, bang! bang! bang! bang! click click click..... shit. AHHHHH!

Pistol with near instant reloads? Hell yeah!

  5. I beat the game today. It was generally pretty sweet.

I loved the combat. It is super fun. The gunplay is great. I had this Steel flintlock pistol for like 3/4 the game. It shot so fast. I'd just zoom, hold L, flick up on the left stick and wail on people getting headhots. It was very visceral. Also, I would do a time slow, then charge up to high level lightning. Very nice :)!

Some things bugged me though: The climax sucked. Loading was semi slow, and the amount of traveling you do makes you see the loading screen a lot.

What about snowy mountains, jungles, deserts, etc.

The menus are slow and cumbersome. The hotkeys on the D-pad were retarded most of the time. Sometimes it would let me use a potion or sometimes it would let me eat some food, never had the choice and sometimes it wouldn't let me do either.

Well, I really hope there is a Fable 3 in a couple years on xbox360. If they can make it bigger, give us back the map, and maybe modify the engine so it can stream environments, the game would be freakin' awesome.

First off. Stop copying my play style. Time Control, level 5 lightning shock and then picking off the rest with the flint pistol for the win (but then again, the red dragon pistol is much better once I won it)! Hehe.

Second. You pretty much sum up nearly all my gripes about the game. The ending sucked hard, that was my main let down. The game is great, but it was really weak for a "final boss" solution. Menu did get annoying after a while, was too slow and sluggish in response. Loading was a bit much, should of just removed quick travel all together cause you'd just keep using that and have load screen after load screen. Would prolong the game for the better.

I sort of liked having no map. I did miss it. But rather have my portable treasure detector instead, its so cute. Having no map did help in setting up ambushes and making secret path ways more secret though. There is actually a small snow part, a winter lodge behind the bloodstone demon door. It's pretty cool, must check it out. :)

I'm thinking that they are going to do to Fable 2 what Lost Chapters did for Fable. Only it is probably going to be download content maybe? I would hope so. Make the final villain revive into a hollow man or some thing and make it as epic of a boss as the dragon in lost chapters.

  6. Who am I? That's easy and obvious.

Miles "Tails" Prower the two-tailed fox.

He dislikes conflict, and has been able to rise above the angst of the world. And when things don't go his way, he knows they'll blow over quickly. Easy going, he tends to find joy from the simple things in life. He rolls with the punches, and as a result, his life is light and cheerful. He finds it easy to adapt to most situations, and is an open person. Very coy yet always active. Not to mention good natured at heart.

    Sounds a lot like me.

  7. How is that different to the majority of Halo 1?
From what I understand, this new game has a stronger emphasis on stealth, maybe he's talking about that.

And I wouldn't mind seeing some stealth in Halo.

Off topic, I liked multiplayer in Halo 2 better than Halo 3. Mostly the maps and options. Not that the tweaks in Halo 3 weren't good, I just liked Halo 2 better. Not to mention I LOVE the single/co-op campaign in Halo 2. Can't recall how many times I went through it.

My question wasn't towards the game itself. FuriousFure said "where it would be more of a survival/horror/adventure game where MC is by himself with only Cortana to guide him."

That sounds a lot like the description of Halo 1 don't you think? :P

As for multiplayer. I actually like Halo 1's multiplayer despite being offline only. It felt solid and slow. Ever since Halo 2, it's felt tedious, fast pace and like every other FPS out there.

On topic for the game. I hope it adds the stealth based things Bungie said they were planning in Halo 2 a while back. Love games like Splinter Cell (the first 3).

    *Acknowledges you* (omg! lolwtfbbq)

Hehe any ways. Just curious, is that the game version with what ever it was that had it recalled to please the Muslim community?

If so, what exactly are the two “expressions” from the Qur’an contained within it any how?

  9. I played through all the Terran campaign... Then started losing interest half way during the Zerg campaign. Then cheated all the way to the end from there. But that was so many years ago when I was much much younger heh.

The map editor and multiplayer was the best thing about the game though. When I get SC2, I'm thinking of making a map that lets players control one unit or hero unit and they are in a space station. It would be like a survival mission, escaping the swarm of Zerg. Heh.

  10. Each new single player campaign will come with upgrades and changes to the multiplayer.

This is starting to sound like all the multi-player in each "expansion" or "game" or what ever you want to call these won't be compatible with each other.

Starting to have doubts towards this game I was looking really forward to.

  11. I predict many people will be playing as Terran when "Starcraft II" comes out.

Either by if you get to only play terran in multiplayer with the 'terran copy'

    or

If you get to play all three races, many people will still play as Terran. Why? Because they were only taught how to play Terran.

Oh and yes, I'm going to be playing Terran. :)

  12. First game to scare me when I was younger and what was most memorable was ironically one of my favourite games: "Descent"

First time playing it when I was still in my single digit ages. The first level was nerve wracking. Going down a dark tunnel and then a screech along with a glowing ball of fire rushes towards you. Can tell you I back piloted to the starting point firing like crazy many times. Some times hoping the bad robot would go away.

But that... was... nothing! Compared to the fourth level with its scary fast paced midi music. Then a certain enemy that would be silent until it was in your face:

The sound of nails scrapping down a black board couldn't be more terrifying.

Eventually I faced my fears of the dark and unknown. Blowing them all to kingdom come on Pluto.

  13. I'm really looking forward to this game. I was really into the first one. I still can't see what all the bitching about how some features weren't adding it. It was still one of the best action RPGames I've seen to date.

Even if Fable 2 doesn't deliver half of its promised, it is still going to be much better than any other RPG out there.

Some people just expect too much with so little time and technology. I have a realistic aspect upon games and know their limits. Living in a dream world and hoping for the impossible doesn't really do much.

  14. Or as a spin off, since MC and Cortana wouldn't be on a halo structure. maybe that shield world, thats at the end of the legendary ending. where it would be more of a survival/horror/adventure game where MC is by himself with only Cortana to guide him.

How is that different to the majority of Halo 1?
