  1. Isn't there a Sale/Want thread somewhere around here? Anyway, just PS2 games? You know I've got a bunch of stuff I'm wanting out of my house that a PS2 will play and I don't mind making a deal with you since you helped me out consistantly over the last month or so.
  2. No shit. Well, its April Fools Day, has anything/anyone crashed yet? Is Google still Google?
  3. Assuming this virus is the real deal, unhooking it won't do any good if its already on there. It'll just wait until you sign on again.
  4. I certainly am not trying to come off Alarmist, I'm just saying, from the $730 new expense I call a computer after a virus ate my other one, that you have every reason in the world to be cautious about virus/hacker shit. I spent nearly $1,000 to get this computer I bought from The Prophet of Mephisto up and running (which I love, thanks once again) and while I had the money for it, I don't think a lot of other people in this economy will.
  5. THOUSANDS? It could be MILLIONS. Additionally, you might as well ask anyone why they get a thrill out of mortal sin. Someone does, for some reason, and thats why they do it. Additionally, when is this virus supposed to activate? I know April 1st but..... its already April 1st in some parts of the world already.... Oh shit, it could be any minute now...
  6. I think it was interesting when Charles Gibson called it the Conflicker Virus, not Conficker (which is German portmaneau for Configure Fuck or Confucker, Confuckure or whatever). Anyway, we're fucked. It could be an awesome April Fool's joke, but c'mon, this is reality. I have to buy another computer from Brad now. We all will. Some little Russian 14-year-old fuck is going to claim lots of money and hold a lot of people for blackmail by implanting child porn on our computers, taking pictures of our desktops, demanding millions, and turning us in anyway. This nation is going to go even further into bankruptcy. Our government systems will fail. Lots and LOTS of people will be international sex offenders and have their penises hacked off or vaginas sewn up with piano wire. We will be completely defenseless when the Taliban see their opportunity to strike us and by the time our corn fields become state-wide conflagrations of blood and rape shrapnel, they will join us in unholy massacre as the Russians, the bastards who got us into this, will finally have the chance to nuke us once and for all. On the plus side, we'll get a kick-ass Alan Moore graphic novel out of it.
  7. I don't suppose there is anyway you could break them up so I don't have to download a whole 100MB thing to listen to it. Also, do you really want critiques of a finished album? Its not like either of us would realistically expect you to go all the back and redo it.
  8. If you are looking for a song title, you should download the .PSF file set (Zophar), an Winamp .PSF player (also Zophar) and look for it there. If you're asking where in the game it plays, its the overworld music for the second half of the game I think.
  9. It sounds fine as is to me. I'm not a metalhead, but it sounds fine to me baring the criticisms I bared before.
  10. I got paid for a commish long before you, bitch. Ok, serious now. Not much to go on based on the information present. It could do with some cleaning up in the high section to take down some of the very high end shrieking and bleeding. Otherwise it sounds fine to me. I don't even know why you'd need a solo, if you could fit it in anywhere. Wrap it up, clean up the highs and call it good.
  11. Oh I didn't mean to come off offended, I'm just surprised of the many things that could've been a problem on this track, the DRUMS are the ones that stood out. They were the least of my concern. I just wanted to make sure the sound was balancing ok and not clipping or distorting or going overboard or anything.
  12. The disc is virtually scratch-free. It has a couple minor lines and a smudge, but I can wipe that off and it should be fine. It worked just fine the last time I played it and I haven't touched it since, so the disc condition is pretty good.

  13. Ok, I can't find the box and instructions for it. I think its at my brothers' house, but I haven't seen it in a long time. Would you accept $15 for it in a good generic case?

  14. I want to add Tales of Destiny for PS1. It never had an original case, the one I bought, but I found the instruction booklet for it today, so I'd like to see what I could get for it. I'm thinking roughly $18 right now, but that is negotiable.
  15. The DRUMS are overpowering? Seriously? I would have never guessed, they sound fine on my end.....
  16. So I'm going to to try to do an ambient album with my new computer and its new capabilities. Here are two tracks I'm working on as of..... Friday? I don't know, but anyway here they are, mostly finished, but definitely going back to fix them up proper. Ornamekias - A Slight Wave from Above http://www.zshare.net/audio/57565511888880fa/ This is pretty analogous and fairly simple. I'm going to add a few things to it, but I think its mostly done as of now. Icidina - The High-Shiva of the Frozen Glacier-Plains http://www.zshare.net/audio/5756561523117d0f/ This one I'm having more trouble with. My sound driver is having a problem and its making it difficult to judge the sound accurately. I definitely know this needs some work, especially in the mixing and levels, I just want to get a better idea of what needs to be worked on so I can fix it correctly. Its also more dramatic and louder than the first one. Enjoy.
  17. I did that too without any luck. The Panoramic deal is my best bet, mostly because the computer Brad set me up with is so awesome, another Guitar Rig on it won't eat up a bunch of resources.
  18. Well I did that and it drowned out the sound a whole lot. I could just open up a clone of Guitar Rig and use Fruity Panoramic.
  19. So this simulated mono will just stay center no matter what? How do I do this other option of processing after?
  20. Its just one fucking thing after another. Ok, what is Guitar Rig doing that it won't let me change the panning of the instruments? It just stays in center and doesn't ever move and the manual PDF is, logically, no help at all. How do I fix this?
  21. Well, I emailed Progressive Grooves and am waiting to hear back. I'm not really into releasing it for FREE. I don't expect a lot of $$$, but I would like to make something so that it would feel like a real release. Does eviljoker have an email address or something I could get a hold of him with?
  22. Anyone remember a few months ago when someone was looking for people to sell ambient music on his website? Well, I can't get him to write me back so I'm wondering if I can use them as an ambient EP or LP. Does anyone know a decent (within realistic expectations) label that would accept an Electronic-Ambient record? Clearly I know I'm not going to get much for it, but its better than letting it sit and rot on my desktop. Any ideas on labels that specifically deal with new artists?
