Thanks man! Actually, I think the article over at Original Sound Version mentioned the Summer 2011 target. We're aiming to be finished by Spring.

Hey guys. We're using a variety of cutting edge libraries, as well as live instruments recorded specifically for this project and placed into the mix as sweeteners where appropriate. If we're unhappy w/ the way a sampled instrument sounds, we strive to replace it with the real deal -- within reason. We've managed to squeeze a lot of realism out of our samples -- of course, it is never a substitute for a live orchestra, but I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised w/ what we've been able to accomplish. That said, a live choir would certainly put it over the top. Live orchestra, not a realistic goal. Live choir? Sure! So why not? Thanks for your support guys! ...too much reverb in places. Aside from that, terrific remix. I've been wanting for a NSMB remix for awhile. Now where are all the Twilight Princess remixes?? Come on folks... Midna's theme is just ASKIN' for it.

Sam's work time-after-time has shown precision, affluence, style, and raw energetic talent. Video game remixes just don't get better than this. There's a lot of detailing here revolving around a relatively simple melody. It's classic stuff, no doubt, though the technology was inherently limiting from a creative standpoint. To go in an expand on the tune w/ his purely on-the-fly arranging virtuosity is both astounding and inspired. As David pointed out, it's frightening that this is after all improvised - but I'm not surprised; Sam is the real deal. I've heard this kind of instantaneous ingenuity first hand... it's just jaw-droppingly cool. And that ending... nothin' beats it. Freakin' fantastic. Thanks for such a great Christmas present, Sam. It's definitely from the heart. Jeron
