  1. Those little corsair cases ARE pure sex. I've thought about building a micro-atx pc in the future and I think I'd go with one of those the mini itx version of that case. http://www.ncix.com/detail/corsair-carbide-series-air-240-b4-100916-1382.htm
  2. In terms of OC guys/ game music remixers, Joshua Morse and Shnab. Gotta have some Shnab.
  3. I used to play snare with one of the football teams in the Canadian football league, but I only did a year of that. Pretty interesting stuff.
  4. My track is pretty far along for this one, but until I get things a little more settled with the release for my CT project, this one is gonna have to wait a bit...
  5. Progress bar updated! We've got 3 songs in post production and have an art team assembled to bring you guys some wonderful artwork on this album as well! More to come.
  6. I played both betas (2011/2014), and I'm considering getting back into this.
  7. Chrono Trigger was my entry into the world of video games. I was about 6 when I was first introduced to it. My older brother had rented it and I was really intrigued by the game. I had no concept of the story or dialogue, but the music and imagery drew me in and I watched him play it on a daily basis. He then sat me down and taught me how to play through it and ever since then I've been hooked on JRPGs. I remember that it was available to rent at a local video store and I must have rented it every weekend for about a year. I was the only kid that rented it and as soon as I walked into the store the workers new which game I was grabbing. The music also had an extremely large impact on my development as a musician and from a young age I was figuring out the game's music by ear on the piano. I've been a part of many fan based projects through various groups and through Chrono Compendium, SquareSound (Dhsu would remember this site well ). As this game has had such a large impact on my life I decided a tribute album was in order which is why I'm leading a project to release an album by my group the OC Jazz Collective in August. Hard to believe this game has been out for 2 decades!
  8. Chrono Trigger had its Japanese release 20 years ago today! Let's discuss our greatest memories of this game! Also, take a look at my groups project "Chronology: 20 Years of Chrono Trigger" over in the project forums, slated to release in August to coincide with the NA release.
  9. Tiny! I have fond memories of these games despite them being pretty bad as far as fighters go. They had some cool graphics at the time. I think I actually own the first one on SNES...
  10. Markus, you should write stuff in some weird time signatures, like 4/4 or 3/4
  11. I think this one is dead until further notice from theophany/enumator
  12. Found this today. Looks like an interesting watch for any game music fans or League fans. My apologies if there is already another thread on this. http://frequencies.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/frequencies/
  13. Oh man! Sonny Clark is the man Markus! I've got a couple of his albums on vinyl (including that one). Make sure to check out his trio with Max Roach and George Duvier. Bill Evans was good friends with Sonny and wrote a tune with a title that was an anagram of his name "NYC's No Lark"
  14. No, but they usually allow you to instantly do what would take HOURS of grinding to achieve.
  15. I'll definitely have to make it down one year. Seems like a good time!
  16. Needs player housing. IMHO Ultima Online is still the best MMO. It's engine is just so outdated, but its mechanics and game play were so great. Completely open world, custom player housing, etc. It was every man for themselves and it worked so well. That is of course until EA ruined it...
  17. Thanks:grin: (Props on the Brink of Time plug)
  18. As many of you know The OC Jazz Collective released its' first single last April entitled "The Guru". Since it's release, the track has garnered over 2000 listens on SoundCloud and maxed out its' downloads. The track can be heard at the following link: https://soundcloud.com/wiesty/the-guru-the-oc-jazz-collective To celebrate, we're announcing our first planned album release on OCRemix... Chronology 20 Years of Chrono Trigger In summer of 1995, SquareSoft released what would become one of the most iconic and recognizable video games in JRPG history. Created by "The Dream Team" of SquareSoft, Chrono Trigger pushed the limits of the Super NES and had its' gamers holding onto their consoles despite the dawn of a new generation that was soon to follow. Most memorable however, was Yasunori Mitsuda's beautifully crafted soundtrack which set the atmosphere for the game and kept gamers immersed in what would become one of Square's most iconic stories. "Chronology: 20 Years of Chrono Trigger" will be the OC Jazz Collective's debut album and will pay tribute to Mitsuda's/Uematsu's score and its' legacy that has stood the test of time. The album will consist of 8 jazz and funk arrangements which span the entirety of the game's story. This album will consist of all live instrumentation and performances from the OC Jazz Collective's impressive line up of musicians.
