Hi, MikeViper here, with my monthly composition. This time I decided to write a battle theme that was inspired by the works of Hitoshi Sakimoto, best known for his works in Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics.
You can listen to it at the link below:

Hello, MikeViper here. Recently, I got inspired to do, what could be described as a soul or R&B remix of the Violet City theme.
You can listen to the WIP here:
-
Introduction:
Hey, MikeViper here. I'm a composer and I'm looking for two female singers to record a song I wrote. One lead vocalist and one backing vocalist.
The song is called "Love Connection". It's an original song by me, that was inspired by Two- Mix(The band that did the music for Gundam Wing).
Here's the song:
You can listen to the isolated lead vocals here:
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=1127019&songID=11659307
Lyrics(Lead Vocals):
-Starting at about 0:16-I feel a love connection
I want your love and affection
Since the first time I ever laid eyes on you
I just knew then that I was in love
-Starting at about 0:44-
Love was so foreign to me, so strange,
When I met you for the first time,
I knew I had found my true lover
-Starting at about 0:59-
No darkness at all, because now I only see light
That's the power of love and maybe we could
share the love together
-Starting about 1:14
I feel a love connection
Love's power is so amazing
When you know that you've found the right one for you
It's a feeling that people call love
-Starting at about 1:28
I feel a love connection
I want your love and affection
Since the first time I ever laid eyes on you
I just knew then that I was in love TONIGHT!
-Starting at about 1:58-
I know this feeling will last, forever
We are so perfect for eachother
I know there won't be anyone else
-Starting at around 2:11
No sadness at all, no drama at all, when I'm with you
When you know you're in love, truly in love,
you will know that feeling
-Starting around 2:26-
I feel a love connection
You are the perfect match for me
You know just how to cheer me up when I'm sad
so that I can be happy again
-Starting around 2:40-
I feel a love connection
I want your love and affection
Since the first time I ever laid eyes on you
I just knew then that I was in love TONIGHT!
-Starting at around 3:24-
I feel a love connection
Love's power is so amazing
When you know that you've found the right one for you
It's a feeling that people call love
-Starting at around 3:38-
I feel a love connection
I want your love and affection
Since the first time I ever laid eyes on you
I just knew then that I was in love
-Starting at around 3:53-
It's a power that people call love
-Starting at around 3:57-
Love!(Hold the word love until the end)

Auditioning Guidelines:
- If you want to audition, send a PM or e-mail to me with a MP3 or WAV recording of yourself,
singing the song acapella. My e-mail address is xixbulletxix@yahoo.com.
- When recording your audition, make sure there is as little static or noise as possible. If you can't really do anything about that, don't worry, just send the audition anyway.
- When PMing or e-mailing me or PMing use this format for the subject:
"[Name]'s [part] Audition".
So if you're name was Young Prodigy like me, you're topic would be like....
MikeViper's Lead Vocal Audition
or
MikeViper's Backing Vocal Audition
Deadline:
The deadline is May 29, 2012. This gives you a week to audition. If anyone needs more time than that let me know.
And please if you say you're going to audition, please do it. Do not say that you're going to audition if you're not 100% sure you're going to audition.

Hi, MikeViper here with the monthly new song. This time the song is "Love Connection". It's a song that was heavily inspired by "Two-Mix" and will probably remind you of something you might here in Gundam Wing. It's 4 minutes long and it's a full length song.
You can listen to it at the link below:
Hope you guys enjoy it!

MikeViper here, with another new song. This time it's a song called "Hero". It's a techno dance track, mostly inspired by the music in 90's racing games, such as Sonic R. You can listen to it at the link below:

Hey, MikeViper here, I just recently finished a disco-styled song. You can listen to it here:

Hey, MikeViper here with another song. This time it's a song, that I would best describe as a mix between rock and electronica. You know, something you might here in SSX Tricky or JetSet Radio. Hope you guys like it!

Hey, MikeViper here with a new track. This time, it's a 90's style Eurodance track. It's very reminiscent of something you would hear in an anime or in video games in the 90's. You can listen to it at the link below:
Hit the 'like button' if you liked what you heard.
-
The overall orchestration is good. But it doesn't really add much to the original. Not that that's a bad thing.
-
Bump. Extended the deadline. Really hope I can find singers for this.
-
I liked it. Other than the muddy vocals, I think it was pretty good. I have to admit though, in my opinion, it does get a little repetitive after 4:02. Maybe you could raising the chorus up a key or something at that point? Maybe just to give it some variance. Or maybe even add a violin or something soloing under the chorus? I'm just putting out some ideas.
Overall though I liked it.
-
Hey, MikeViper here. Here's a new orchestral beat that I did:
Remember, to press the like button if you enjoyed it.

Pretty good remix man. The atmosphere is good and the mix is overall very clean.
-
Hey, MikeViper here. I've been working on a sort of "Bossa Nova" style remix of the Rustboro City music from Pokemon RSE. It's only a WIP now, but you can listen to it here:
-
Wait, for the audition you want them to give you basically all you need to finish the track?
What else do you need from them after their audition, assuming they "make it?"
Moreover, what do they get from you in return for the work?
What do I get for composing? Nothing, but the fun of composing.
If you don't want to audition you don't have to and that's the end.
What do you expect me to say money? I didn't get any money for making the track. This is all for fun. If you want money, go elsewhere.

Introduction:
Hey, I'm Young Prodigy and I'm looking for 3 singers to record a song I wrote. The vocals of this
song are divided into two parts. The first part is the lead vocals part. The second part is the
backup vocals part, which will be sung by two singers in harmony.
Here's the song:
What I'm looking for:
I'm looking for 3 singers that have that 90's dance music kind of voice. You know, that really
soulful female voice, that's reminiscent of 90's dance/r&b groups like Black Box and Soul 2 Soul.
Here are some examples of what I'm talking about:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jefU3owEAgM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehib674Fg4U
But for the most part, the first song is the best example of what I'm looking for.
Lead Vocal Lyrics:
-This section starts at about 0:29We'll make it loud and pump up the music...
-This section repeats at at about 0:36-
-The second section starts at about 0:56-
Make the music loud!
-1:02-
Loud!
-1:04-
Make it louder cause we're gonna go all night long...
-1:08-
All night... LONG!
Backing Vocal Lyrics:
-At about 0:15-Let's make it loud and pump up the music
Make it loud and pump up the music
Make it loud and pump up the music
All night long
-At about 0:22
Let's make it loud and pump up the music
Make it loud and pump up the music
Make it loud and pump up the music
All night long we'll...
-At about 0:33
We'll make it loud
We'll pump it...
This part then repeats.
-At about 0:44-
Let's make it loud and pump up the music
Make it loud and pump up the music
Make it loud and pump up the music
All night long
-At about 0:51
Let's make it loud and pump up the music
Make it loud and pump up the music
Make it loud and pump up the music
-At about 1:00
Make it loud
Make it loud
-At about 1:04-
Pump it up
Make it loud
Having trouble?
If you're having trouble syncing up the lyrics to the melody, I've uploaded the isolated parts.

I liked it, though the voice that came in at 1:13 seemed out of place or didn't quite sit right. What program do you use for your samples?
Thanks. I used a soundfont for the backing instruments, a loop for drums and VirtualDJ for samples.

Hey, everyone, it's Magnius. I know it's been awhile but I've composed a new song. It's mostly a late 90's Eurodance type song. The main inspiration for it was "True Love Makin'" from Capcom vs SNK 2. Hope you like.
-
Sounds like something from the Virtual-On series.
I like kind of the older-sounding synths and instruments (like the orchestra hits and the shreddin' guitar). Sounds straight out of the 90s, which has some of the best "sounds" to my ears.
Pretty good all-around.
Thanks. I was pretty much going for that "90's/early 00's" robot anime sound. Glad to see I succeeded.

It's been a while since I composed something, but over the past 2 days I've been working on this new battle theme. I call it an "Anime-styled" battle theme, because it takes after the structure and feel of some anime songs.
You can listen to it here:

Hey, this is MikeViper. I recently finished a new track that would best be described as a "Jungle" track. You can listen to it here:

Hi, I'm MikeViper and I'm a free composer, who's looking for work. However, I've heard from many that this site isn't the best place to look for work. Now, some people have recommended gamedev to me, but other than that, are there any other sites you guys can recommend me?

Well previously I posted a Heavy Metal song titled "Battle Theme Request #2". Now, there's a version with real guitars! You can listen to it here. The guitarist featured here is Aster:
