  1. Bringing my own special brand of nerd pop to the scene, inspired by the likes of Shael Riley, Dr. Awkward, Benjamin Bear, Glenn Case, and myriad others both within and outside of the nerdcore community. Anyone who's been following my The Songs In My Head series should see very few surprises here, but this EP represents a more concerted release effort on my part. To everyone, regardless of whether they've heard my music before or not, I sincerely hope you enjoy! The ProjektZero EP (2011): http://www.mediafire.com/?1hq2aqe8gu5hka2 - Download Here! 2. This is good. Keep at it, I wanna see this finished and submitted!
  3. I'd like to thank you guys so much, I put a lot of very difficult and pain-staking effort into making my contribution as listenable as possible, and hopefully that translated to a pleasant and awe-inspiring experience for all of my avid listeners! I'm really excited to hear this project come to fruition when Duck Hunt HD finally hits, and I'd like to take the time to personally thank Doug and Hex for contacting me directly to request my involvement on this soundtrack.
  4. This is tremendously saddening to me. I didn't know Reuben, as it seems most people in here didn't. But his music was some of the most passionate and inspirational I've ever heard. I don't post much around here, but I do more than my fair share of lurking. Reuben belonged to a small circle of artists I revere in this community. That circle influenced me to take up an independent study of music theory, which I've indulged somewhat at my university. I've taken up guitar, and piano, toyed around endlessly with synths, started a small band, and now work as a DJ in a local bar on the side of my studies. My point is that the music made by Reuben, and this community in general, has a massive impact upon those privileged to listen. His loss is an absolutely shattering concept that's very honestly hard for me to take in completely. But Reuben will live on in his accomplishments, and his joys, sorrows, hopes and thoughts will be forever encased in the echoing drums, myriad synths, thought-provoking ivory melodies he's left for us.
  5. Heh. Yo, SGX, a Reanimation for this CD would kick so much ass. I can hardly imagine it. There's so many new directions to take this CD. 'Sup, guys. I downloaded MtM and I'm in love with it. I've had it on repeat for the last couple of hours. I like the new direction. I wouldn't have expected it. To me, LP was like this triangle really. You had Hahn's DJing styles, Shinoda's rap influence, and Bennington's umm....emotional singing. Together, the three things really came together well and provided something new (or at least it was to me when I first heard Hybrid Theory) that's now become quite the standard. For a band to break from their own standards shows the ability to create fresh new things, it means they haven't locked themselves into formulaic music entirely yet. Even if you don't like Minutes to Midnight, the beauty of it is that it means they can produce greater levels of variety than Hybrid Theory or Meteora really made you think they could. If such surprises are possible, then that means they could do it again in a completely different direction in the future. Just makes you keep your eyes open.
  6. Heh, I already know about KJ Sawka. I've listened to quite a bit of his stuff.
  7. Alright, look. I'm not a noob at this, alright? I'd like to make that clear right off the bat. I've been using FL for three years now. I have a pretty decent idea of how to work my way around the program, and a pretty good idea of how to make music. However, I'm suffering from some mindset problems that are limiting my abilities. The things I hear in my head aren't coming down into the songs. I'm feeling more and more like I'm trying to speak my emotions into musical form and I just don't know the language. It's like I fall into some whirlpool that just sucks me down every time I get into the nitty-gritty. So I'm coming here, looking for someone who has a pretty good idea at what they're doing in FL to teach me. Maybe this is bad form, maybe it's just a bad idea. But if anyone here would like to step up to the plate, feel free to contact me. I'm willing to put forth a ton of effort in order to improve my music. In particular, I'm looking to explore a lot of d'n'b, IDM, or glitch styles. But in general, I'd be more than happy to learn under anyone who's talented and willing to teach an avid student. Anyways. -Projekt
  8. Oh, my song's a remix of that Descent into Spontaneous Psychosis (Meow'd Theme), but Prophecy already knew that. Just making sure everyone knows.
