Wow, I dunno about you guys, but I didn't see this one coming. I dunno what exactly I think about this yet. It could be good - activision makes games for all platforms, so maybe some Blizzard made games for the consoles ...Maybe?
What's the "merged" company going to be called anyways? Blizzavision? Activizard?

I am just tuning into this thread.
I never listened to any of Reuben's remixes (I don't have any on my comp), but this is very sad to lose someone who contributed to this site, which is a big part of the music I listen to. I will give a listen to his mixes now.

I for one, love Ocarina of Time. Majora's Mask was great too, if not better that OOT.

Wow. That makes it... the highest rated game, ever?
I am enjoying the hell out of this game. I only have 20 stars at the moment, and am gonna try for 120. The only thing that really annoys me about the game are those black holes... ah well, more challenge, I guess.

I just realized that the new HBFS remix is more of a mashup of a bunch of DP songs, not only the old HBFS, but Voyager and Around the World, the last of which I hadn't heard before. Not quite as cool as I initially thought.. again.. still a great track.
That is actually what really made me like the song. I dunno, I just thought it was really cool how they combined them and actually made them... flow together.
I guess you could say the whole live album is just a bunch of songs combined together, here is the tracklist:

God damn it, Wal Mart did not have the game today. I hate them. They cannot get a new release to save their lives. They have 4 sports games for each console, but cannot seem to get freaking galaxy.

ALSO... my copy Metroid Prime 3 died. This sucks. I tried to start a game on hyper mode, and during the first intro part, it said my disk could not be read. I checked the disk, and all was fine except one small (but deep) scratch on it. Hmm... I guess that scratch was deep enough to render my game useless.

I keep trying to convince a friend that this is actually a great game, however, he keeps saying it looks stupid and "juvenile". He then complained how the Wii wasn't getting enough "cool" (violent) games. God, some people....

So IGN posted more images of FF:CC WiiWare and is (as before) looking really nice, especially compared to pretty much all the other WiiWare titles we've been shown so far, but I'll be interested to hear details about the gameplay and whatnot.
Anyway, Battalion Wars 2 comes out tomorrow. Really enjoyed the original, short as it was, and anticipating this to be more of the same. I think I'll be picking this up tomorrow, even though it'll be dicey if I'll much any time to sink into it before Fire Emblem arrives next week. Who else plans on picking this up?
I saw some of the FF:CC screens this morning. It actually looks suprisingly good, given that it is a WiiWare Download.
Country building RPG? That sounds pretty sweet.
I might pick it up. I really loved the first one, but the NP review...

Protest the Hero sucks major ass. Not to mention, they were incredibly lame live and garnered the hate of all of the metalheads there when they threw shit at the audience. I was considering throwing all of the loose change from my pocket at them for that bullshit.
Mmkay then...
I have never seen the band live, and probably most likely never will. From the music I have heard from them, I really liked. I mentioned the band just because I found that they had some sweet-sounding guitarring, that I thought would be interesting to play in the game.

I agree with Hy Bound about the whole sample thing. The music Daft Punk makes may borrow those samples, but it still is good music... and its not like they use samples for every song.

I might buy this for the Wii, but I dunno. GH is kind of expensive, right?
What I would like to see in the game most would be some Protest the Hero (damn good band!). I also think that it is really cool that they are throwing the song Carcinogen Crush by AFI in as a downloadable/unlockable. That band has always been one of my favorites.
Oh yes, the inclusion of Dragonforce in the game is awesome too.

I was actually going to post this question. I dl'ed the trial version. I kinda got a feeling how to use it, but am still confused in some areas. So I guess just the regular Fruity edition?

I'm not very far yet, but I have to say I am satisfied. Not as good as some of the other Zelda games... but hey, Zelda on the DS? You can't go wrong there.
