need some bump! Sorry I haven't been folding lately. I've been mining bitcoins instead. Unfortunately my power supply couldn't take the load from my maxed out cpu and graphics card so it died and took my motherboard with it Once I get a couple new parts I'll be back online. Also, notice how ATI cards are hard to come by? Blame bitcoins for this Man, only 10 active right now?

Not using the smp client anymore since I upgraded to an Nvidia 460 GT since i was having massive problems with my previous card. I really haven't been running the gpu since it makes a screeching noise. i'm waiting on getting the 6 core 3.2 AMD cpu tomorrow. oh yeah, BUMP

I just installed the new SMP client on my dualcore computer. the new client is 100 times easier to install and run. i would use the new GPU client but it's only for Nvidia cards and the ATI version is TBA. [bUMP]

Sorry i kinda died there. I upgraded my graphics card to a ATI 4870 and my performance has been cut in half from my 8800 GT. its a significant improvement for gaming though. I'll be folding while i'm away though since its kinda loud.

Ya, the GPU2 client is basically awesome. They finally released new projects that run quieter on my 8800 GT. The older ones caused it to make an annoyingly lout and high pitched noise so i could only fold when i wasn't in my room. I recommend to anyone who can to use the GPU client to use it. It completes work units in two and a half hours for me. What graphics card are you using prophet of Mephisto?

I just added a GPU2 client to a computer with a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT yesterday. So far it has completed 2 WU's and is almost done with #3. It's already leaving my three other CPU's in the dust
