  1. This is something that I did kinda out of random inspiration. It's an attempt at a mix of Doom's E2M8 "Nobody Told Me About id"(Tower of Babel). But now that my inspiration is gone, I'm not sure what to do with it. Its still waaaay far from finished, and I cant seem to come up with what to do with it now. I guess you could say that I have a mental block. So what I really need are some suggestions about it. Mostly concerning where to go with it, but also things to fix/tweak. Also, if there is any you can think of that would make the orchestra at the beginning sound a little less robotic, that would be cool. I used Garritan Aria for Finale as a plug-in to Acid 6.0, just fyi.
  2. God damn you... I only had 1:58 for metroid fusion.
  3. ...yes? try and save it at 160 first, see if that will bring it down enough, then go 128. EDIT: ^^ Damn you're quick on the trigger! ^^
  4. Lolz, look at that. I mistook my FL8 for Finale 2009. MY BAD. Oh and about the manual... dont care.
  5. Damn straight. That guy was the king of kickass For me, Toonami died quite a while ago. I think it died back when they replaced it's mid-day slot with something else and moved it to later in the day. Good for some people, bad for younger me with my nazi parents. "ITS 7:00 GO TO BED!!!"
  6. Personally I can't understand anything that has to do with FL. I have FL9, and I have NO IDEA how to use it. Reason is cool, but I like Acid the best. Mostly because its the first thing I learned how to use. Just my opinion. If i'm wrong... dont care. EDIT: Its actually FL 8. so says him v v v v v v v v v v v v v v
  7. Its a little better, but I suggest getting a real bass pedal and just mod that. Its what my friend did. Totally worth it.
  8. ^^^ Go figure. Postal, right? ^^^ Or wait... is that the mod? Ah well.
  9. Kitten Cannon. Im not talking about that flash game either. Gun, fires kittens, distracts/ psychologically damages enemies. Plus afterwards, there is one less kitten in the world for atma to eat.
  10. That is the coolest thing i have seen all day. And by coolest I mean most horrifying sign of the apocalyspe yet.
  11. Hype sucks the life out of some games, and I think that kind of did it a little for me. Dont get me wrong, I liked the demo (smashing dudes into the ground never felt so real awesome!), but I figured I would be able to do a little more than just that.
  12. Doom 2 DQD has some. I suggest "The End of Hell" by mazedude. Im sure you could check some of the other doom remixes for something spooky. ALSO: This isn't on the site but check this out: http://www.plantacion.net/aa/15_Opening_to_Hell.mp3 Its by mazedude as well, but its not on oc. Its from his own personal album-thing... Idk the details, I just came across it one day, but it has to be the scariest remix I have ever heard. Hands down.
  13. I agree and suggest killing your entire family.* * Burn7 Toast does NOT endorse killing any part of your family** ** Family includes blood relatives. Your mother in-law does not count. Kill her*** *** Burn7 Toast does NOT endorse killing anyone or anything.
  14. I can't honestly say that I remember this from Tyrain, but then again the only memories I have of that game are of my friend and I sitting on his computer coop-ing it up on one keyboard... good times. I would have to say that this is one hell of a lot better than I could do after year one! BUT... personally I think that the instrumentation gets a little old after a while. Not really liking the old style electric keyboard sound that is your lead at 1:21, but the melody it carries is very nice, and thats usually what I personally focus on anyways, not sound quality. I love the way it flows though, especially with that synth bassline which has an almost percussive sound to it, almost eliminating the need for percussion at all... but its still probably a good idea to incorporate some sort of drums. If you wanted you could probably add some explosion sounds instead of cymbal crashes or something to add a little more Tyrain-ish flavor. But hey, I'm not a judge so what I say, in the long run, really doesn't matter at all.
  15. Absolutely agree, except this approach is not quite extreme enough for me. I wanna have windows shattering all around me, people's eardrums imploding and causing mass chaos, gas stations lighting on fire for no apparent reason!!! I have a new dream.
