  1. True story: when I saw the title of your latest Wily Gauntlet mix, I read "Raging Pedophile." >.>

Happy to say that further inspection revealed that it was not, in fact, a child predator, but merely a ballin' mix. That is all.

  2. Yeah, not gonna argue with you there. Priority Nemesis was the first track I did for the Wild ARMs project, and (as I recall) I finished it around the same time I did Keep Your Nightmares. KYN is a bit darker, soundscape-wise, but PN is more polished, I'd like to think. You're going to hear a lot of straight-line, Pendulum-esque DnB from me on OCR going forward (with some tracks on DKC3 and other projects), so I hope you like that stuff! :)

  3. Why, thank you sir! Money is secondary to me, I just hope you enjoy all the music I make. :)

  4. I'd love to, but I don't know what I could really swap in return! I kinda do the pay-what-you-want thing for all my stuff (plus I bought Impostor Nostalgia already). Got any ideas?

  5. Oh hey man, if you'd be so kind as to hit me up via AIM, Skype, MSN, IRC, Yahoo, or whatever, I'd love to be able to discuss that matter of stems with you.

  6. Hey Rozovian, I just came across your Free AU guide, and I thought I'd point you to The Fish Fillets package. I currently use the VST versions myself, but they also have AU versions. It's a package of a compressor (which is one of my three go-to compressors), a noise gate (my go-to gate), and a de-esser (my go-to solution for that as well). The plugins are fairly simplistic, controls-wise, but they do have stuff under the hood to tinker with. They're drop-dead easy to get something entirely usable out of, too! http://www.digitalfishphones.com/main.php?item=2&subItem=5

  7. Hello Hollidayrain. Look at your wall, now back to this text, now back to your wall, now back to this text. Sadly, we started the idea of a collaboration over a year ago, but with the completion of Weeping Clouds, we have finally gone and finished the darn thing. I'm on a horse.

  8. Why thank you! I'm glad you dig it. :D

  9. Well, I'm involved heavily with both the Donkey Kong Country 3 project (a couple songs, album mastering), as well as the Wild ARMs project (a few songs). Is your musical appetite whet yet? :P

  10. Why, thank you very much! I'm surprised anyone from OCR noticed, lol. :)

  11. Hmm, my personal mainstay synth is Toxic Biohazard, supplemented by Wusikstation 4 and Firebird+. Toxic is basically what I use for almost everything, lol. I, unfortunately, don't own z3ta+ or Vanguard, or even Sytrus. I'm rather penniless, you see, and prefer not to use cracked software--as tempting as it is. (Got Toxic on sale, as well as Wusikstation and Firebird+.) I really want to go for the XXL upgrade deal, but I can't even dig up $99 for that!

As far as sample libraries go, I use mostly Computer Music Magazine sample sets, 'cuz I got a subscription to said magazine for my birthday some time ago--it's since expired, though. I also have a bunch of random samples found from the internet's various nooks and crannies.

  12. Awesome. Should we make it an OCR-based collab, or just a "regular" one? I'm guessing with your arrangement skills and my production knowledge (I graduated from audio engineering school this spring), we could probably make a killer remix. What VSTs do you usually use?
