Meh. If you can sing, sing, if you can't, don't ruin an otherwise good song by just growling at the microphone. Pass. =\

Oooh, I like this a lot! I will agree with others that aren't fans of the low-fi production, but the melody and overall feel of the song is just great. Really mellow, relaxing, kind of ethereal...Great stuff, just wish it were a little cleaner and it'd be perfect.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with the majority on this one. I love the rare mix that has well done vocals, but this is far from one of them. They're flat, off-key, nasally, shaky, the list goes on. I'm sorry for sounding harsh, but it's true. This is a really, really, really disappointing mix.

Good stuff, but I agree with those that said it's a little too crunchy. Definitely too compressed, and too difficult to really hear the melody amongst all the noise at times. It's still a great mix, though, and I love the liberties with the arrangement. Many just do a straightforward cover of the song, which is great, but I like seeing you mix it up a bit. Would adore a cleaner version, though!

I really seem to be mildly annoyed with Larry's comments...he seems to have some stringent guidelines that even if a mix--like this one--is absolutely gorgeous and incredible, if it isn't variant enough, etc, then it's some horrible affront. I've never been of the opinion that a mix had to be so much different from the source, as long as the arrangement worked, and this one certainly does. It's absolutely gorgeous from start to finish!

Really pretty! I don't think it's repetitive at all, given the source material. I think it really sticks true to the original theme while adding just the right touch of originality. It could certainly use some cleaning up, but it's definitely promising!

So uh... Is this abandoned? :\
It'd be awfully disappointing if it is, FFV's always been one of my favorite soundtracks in the series...
