hey everyone-
i've been a long time lurker, but i've been a devout fan (even as far back as being a smaller sponsor on project: majestic mix). i'm the guy that organizes nerdapalooza (if you've heard of it), and i'm now the station manager for rocket propelled radio, a radio station that WAS targeted primarily around nerdcore hip-hop, but with me in charge, i'm trying to put an emphasis around all nerdy music - including video game inspired music.
i talked with liontamer about this, and he gave the okay for uploading ocr music onto rpr. i've already uploaded kong in concert and the new street fighter 2 collab with capcom. i plan on uploading at least all of the albums, and any other tracks that get recommended to me.
we also have radio drops, where a nerd musician goes "hey this is so and so, here is where i plug my project, and you're listening to rpr," hopefully over one of their tracks. we currently have liontamer advertising ocr in his radio drop, and i'd love to have anyone else that wanted to have a radio drop on rpr as well! it's meant to be 5 - 10 seconds, and you can email me at hex@rpradio.org.
i'm always looking for new projects, too, so you can send me any project you'd like uploaded to rpr. you cannot download music from rpr, so there's no need to worry about that. i can be reached at that email as well. i'll also continue to lurk a little bit, and if you have any questions, i'll be here to answer. thanks!
