It's lasted at least four years so far, and still going strong.

you...hate...restarting you realize that's how you keep it running quickly and smoothly, right?
Yeah, but I try to restart it as seldomly as possible. I usually end up restarting it for a reason other than speed issues. I think the longest it's been on was 4 weeks.

If, at this point, you're not running Service Pack 3 (which has been out for roughly a year, if I remember correctly), that means you're probably not having Windows Update automatically update Windows for you. Which is a *very bad thing*.
My computer's XP Media Center (though it reads in properties as Professional) SP2. I downloaded the executable from Microsoft for SP3 and installed it on another computer, it worked, but when I tried to install it on my computer, it failed and restarted my computer. After that I also tried automatic updates, and that failed just the same and restarted. I hate restarting my computer, so I just haven't bothered with it since. So far, no problems, so I haven't taken to caring about it.

I'm going to be playing trumpet in my high school's marching band at the city's memorial service. Not going to play taps, though - I let someone else play it because I won't be in band next year. Aside from that, just staying at home.

He was giving you spoilers. Highlight the big white areas.
Aha! Thanks, I normally don't deal with things that have spoilers so I completely missed that. Doesn't help that I was skimming at the time because I was rushed to do other things, so I missed the messages saying to highlight text after the colon.

I didn't think I gave too big of spoilers, I just said that two things weren't the same between two games, didn't say how.
-
First series: I played all of the games, I liked the gameplay and I loved the storyline. I didn't care that the gameplay didn't change between the games of the series, but then again I bought all the games used, so I didn't spend as much money on the games as I could have.
Second series: I played the first game, but there were too many changes for me to get involved in this series. The game I played was fun, but I felt like the path GU was going with things was tangent to the path the first series went with things. A few of the things I didn't understand was why Skeith served a different purpose in GU from that of Infection, and I didn't understand what happened to Kite between the first series and GU to make him change roles as well. Maybe these things would have been explained, but oh well, I've long since stopped caring.
Sign: I liked the show, loved the music, but I found Tsukasa very annoying.
I never watched the rest of the anime, so I have no suggestion for what order to watch/play things in.

Come to think of it, not only was Duke Nukem Forever the perfect name for the game, it's also the best acronym. DNF - Did Not Finish.
Duke Nukem Forever? More like Duke Nukem Never.

Well, I've been looking into this (ATI TV Wonder™ HD 650 Combo USB), but I haven't run a price check on it yet to see if it's worth it.
-
First thing that comes to mind is a TV Tuner card. Last I heard, those are able to record from Composite (the colored plugs), so try looking into those. I estimate they should be between $40 and $120 dollars for an average one.

aren't you supposed to do both? i mean use cooking mama to cook? or is it another Ds game?
It's another DS game.
Also, summary of my last post: Games present quick rewards with little investment required. As for learning a guitar in the time used playing Guitar Hero, I think it's entirely a matter of the quick rewards and also, as I said in my last post, that to actually imitate the songs you'd need people playing other instruments.
Side Note: I played Halo 3 and didn't like it. My main gripe is that I didn't like how strong melee was, but aside from that I played on a console, which I haven't done in a long time, so I didn't like getting used to analog sticks again.

Why play EA NBA 2009 when you can walk down the road and play a pick up game? Same for NFL football.
Because playing a game of football requires:
- friends who want to play and have time to play
- space enough to play in
- setting up the game
- organizing the game
- time to organize the game, get to the place to play, play, and get to wherever after playing
- physical effort
- a ball
A video game requires:
- console
- game
Why play cooking mama when you can, well, go cook something?Because cooking requires:
- recipes
- ingredients
- tools
- storage for ingredients and tools
- preparation
- that the person is in a kitchen
- cleanup
- time to decide what food, get the ingredients for the food, prepare to make the food, make the food, serve the food, and clean up
- people to eat the food.
Playing a video game requires:
- console
- game
Why play guitar hero when you can, you know, play A REAL GUITAR?Because playing a real guitar requires:
- guitar
- lessons to learn how to play
- time to practice until level of playing is presentable
- sheet music
And if the person wants to sound good:
- other instruments
- people who play them well, have time to play, and want to play
Playing a video game requires:
- console
- game
- special controllers
I know this may be a shocker to a lot of people, but rock music has more instruments than just guitar. For example, there's trapset, keyboard (with voices to sound like something else), and miscellaneous percussion instruments. Playing any instrument alone is rather dull, let alone one that practically everyone plays for popularity reasons.
- friends who want to play and have time to play

You should get some camermen and turn this into a TV show, make you some money to pay for those lawyers. I'd watch it (at least to see if it's as interesting as you're making it out to be).

I'd assume that a first party charger would help, but sounds like a bad battery to me. I'm no tech expert though.

Off the top of my head, here are my favorite RPG's:
One Character (3D): Zelda:OoT (N64); Zelda:MJ (N64); Bomberman 64 (N64);
One Character (2D): Zelda:Oracle of [Ages/Seasons];
Team: FF6 (SNES); FF Tactics (PS1 or PSP); FFX (PS2); FFXII (PS2); Secret of Mana (SNES); Super Mario RPG (SNES); Paper Mario (N64);
Multiplayer (Only good with friends): Gauntlet Legends (N64);
On a side note, Kirby 64 (N64) was a fun platformer.

Well, I have folder options set to view hidden folders/directories and I'm the owner of my computer, so I think it's just a matter of me not having the other two users. Hope you find the permissions for them, though!
-
If the users you're talking about are the ones from Documents and Settings, I have All Users and Default User, but neither of the other two.
All Users
Administrators - Allow: Full Control
Everyone - Allow: Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read
Power Users - Allow: (everything but full control)
SYSTEM: Allow: (full control)
Users: Allow: Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read
Default User
(Same as All Users, but Power Users have same permissions as Users) -
I don't do any remixing, but I think all the links you should need related to starting remixing on OCR should be on this page.

Off the top of my head, there's recuva by Piriform (people who made CCleaner). I've never tried it to see how well it works, and I don't know if it's be able to recover files from a repartition, but you can try it.
-
I wish I had made more copies of my FL folder now. Figured three would be enough, you know?
Are they all on the same drive? I only have one external hard drive, so I can only really have two copies of my stuff in the case of hardware/OS problems. My CD burner broke a while back, so now I can't back files up on CD, either.

WARNING: This ReMix contains explicit lyrics that may not be appropriate for children... or people that don't like explicit lyrics! Additional warning: if you write to us doing nothing but complaining about the profanity in this ReMix, we will probably respond with more profanity!
Lol, I love OCR XD

Any suggestions on which version of linux to use? I'd like to use it to break windows so I can re-install XP 32, which worked 100% fine before.
I used Feather Linux, which can be run off of a CD or USB drive (may have to change boot order in BIOS). After you have Feather running, you can reach the partition menu by right-clicking on the desktop, going to "install," and going to something along the lines of "operating system (safer)." I don't remember it word for word because I haven't used it in a while, but I do know it has "(safer)" in it.
After you have the partition window open, delete the windows partition and use "write." After this is done, you should be able to reinstall Windows without any conflicts with older versions.

Focusing on pushing the graphics have been at the forefront since the dawn of the industry.
I don't mean they ignored the graphics back then, or else we wouldn't be where we are with graphics today. I mean that on the past consoles, the hardware prevented companies from productively spending a lot of time on graphics. As the hardware improved, companies could productively spend more time on graphics, and to keep up with the expected release-rate, they spent more time on graphics and less on mechanics.

I've been looking around and couldn't find anything that specifically mentioned offensive lyrics. Here are links to two of the most relevant pages I found:

Heh, my computer's nowhere nearly as beasty as a server, but I never thought about the cost of running it. I'll have to check that out.
