Found out an interesting little thing. :U It's possible to emulate my horrid internet through console commands. For anybody wanting to give it a try, here you are. Replies would be awesome.
sv_cheats 1
tf_bot_add 5
net_fakelag 3800
net_fakeloss 25
net_fakejitter 250
When my internet decides to be normal shitty
sv_cheats 1
tf_bot_add 5
net_fakelag 500
net_fakeloss 10
net_fakejitter 100
sv_cheats 1
tf_bot_add 5
net_fakelag 80
net_fakeloss 1
net_fakejitter 50
That's about my average when it doesn't want to suck, if I'm lucky I'll have net_fakeloss 30 or maybe a net_fakejitter 7, but that's as good as it'll ever get.
I suggest Create Server on a VALVe map like cp_granary which the bots will respond in so you don't have to generate a nav for the map. Note all games put you in a 3 v 3 setup, so you may be attacked--have fun with that...

Have a teammate hit the pumpkin.
Unless they do FF damage.
When I tried it, they didn't do FF damage.

I'd totally forgotten about that pumpkin bomb on B, and huh? No spawn door?it doesnt matter if you cant go to a specific spot its making the heavy ridiculously mobile especially if hes overhealed in which he can land somewhere without having that much less than 300hpits also too dark youd need to seriously work on the lighting especially in the whole A area
and why would you change the map structure of gravelpit its one of if not the best designed maps in the game
anyways heres a quick demonstration of how disastrous it would be if pumpkin bombs were in every map
even if you tried to move them into other places im sure i could come up with a way to use them to my advantage when jumping
wait why wasnt there a blu spawn door
also, as far as lighting goes, it's perfectly fine on mine. You just seem to have everything darker by default...I'll have to see about that.

i know you play a lot of medic but i havent seen you play much of it at all in a long while
and the kritz is really best suited for two skilled buddies, one of which is really good at protecting the medic, pocketing each other as theyll be able to keep alive better
on the other hand, the regular medigun has a lot more uses
not only can it be used to push but it can also be invaluable as a means to counter the other teams uber and stall them, as well as giving the medic a potential out when hes about to get meatshotted by a scout and whoever hes healing is completely oblivious to the situation (a common occurrence)
and yeah im talking about pumpkin bombs, but probably not how you are
i dont think anyone understood why i was on the roof of the point on harvest as a heavy
Hmm. Thinking it over, I still don't think that Heavies could make it up there to B with my pumpkin bomb placements. There's maybe ONE pumpkin, but....honestly, you'll have to be extremely lucky to angle it just right. Even then I don't know.
Also, it doesn't show the layout and actual differences in map structure, but it's a neat screenie.

Sounds like we're all having a fun ragechat, but I'll have to interrupt it with a map I'd like to have uploaded. V;
Boredom, curiosity, and ParanoidDrone's help have led me to make a modified version of a map. You've all played cp_gravel_pit, now it's time for cp_grave_pit.

Hey everybody, I'm sure you've all [hopefully] heard of MREO by now. We've gotten out there now with Nsider2 and all, but it seems through unfortunate circumstances, most of our team seems to have lost connection with us. I'm sure that most of it's been family and the holiday seasons and the like, but without a team, things are going to get a bit bumpy for us. So for any of you who may be interested in MREO, we would greatly appreciate your assistance. If you want to contact us, just shoot me or Zervic119 a PM here at Zentendo, or you can contact us on AIM. Mine is NSGamemaster1379 while Zervic119's is....Zervic119.
If you haven't seen us yet, you can check us out at http://mreomusic.com!

It's possible that I'm completely blind, but I didn't see a list of songs available for orchestration. Is there such a list, that way multiple people aren't doing the same tracks?
A handful of my team members are working on songs from Super Metroid IIRC, but I don't actually have an organized list. Perhaps if I can add a wiki page of sorts to MREO, it'd help sort that stuff out.
-
I will definitely be having a listen! Most of ZREO was good, so I'm looking forward to this one.
Edit: Well... The Metroid one sounds great... But to be honest the original Metroid Prime versions of Magmoor and the fanfare sounded much better than the MREO versions.
Really? That's a pity. I've been getting mixed opinions all throughout the place. Some say that the fanfare is best and better than Prime, others are saying fanfare's weak and the others are better.

A while? This thread was started less than 3 weeks ago!
Will check these out later.
The thread was started three weeks ago. The concept was being worked on since late July.

The long awaited Metroid Reorchestrated is finally here. It has taken quite a bit to get it off the ground, but we're finally released, you can check us out at http://mreomusic.com.
Additionally, although we may be released, we are still looking for additional participants to help us with our work in Metroid Reorchestrated, if you are interested, be sure to read the quoted text in the first post on this topic!
-
Sorry for not being here for a little while guys, I had a really bad reaction to an immunization. Nearly was hospitalized. Finally getting over it though.
-
Hopefully we can get this one off the ground if anybody would be willing to actually jump in. I have a handful who say they will then are like "oshi- personal life brb for a couple months" D:
-
It's possible that his jazz and rock skills could be helpful to another, who knows.
-
It's much like ZREO, Zelda Reorchestrated, if you've ever heard of it. They aim to take the great music from the Zelda games, and re-create it while giving it a realistically orchestrated sound. MREO does the same thing, except with Metroid music. Well, we plan to when we get a functional team together.
Which I hope is to be soon.
-
@Meteo, where's the bitch-be-gone when you need it? :U
@Prophet. Yeah, sorry about that. The rest of our team isn't doing very much. If you want, you can troll them until they produce something. Try to lay off Nutritious though, he's dealing with a few week old child...I can't excuse the rest of my team though. :U
@Cuda, perhaps that's a talent that somebody else lacks. If you can find a partner who'd be interested, you'd be a welcomed addition to our team!
-
Tell me about it, it's always one thing after another! Well, I hope you can get whatever you need sorted out soon.
-
Hey, I'm still interested in the project - I know I haven't been in contact, but I really have been waiting on Sibelius before I get started on it.
Just lettin' you know.
That'd be awesome. Just contact me whenever you are ready

Are there any other interested parties willing to assist us with this project?

Hey everybody. I'm the project leader behind reviving MREO. I appreciate all of you who are willing to help and if you have any questions, you're welcome to PM me.
