I was thinking of tugging your sleeve to remember to vote*, but I thought it'd come off as a bit conflict-of-interest-y since I submitted this round.  (edit) Anywayyyys, thanks for remembering to vote and good to see you back in the compo scene :D

I had planned on putting a bonus entry together but I've been laid low with tonsillitis over the past week or so and I've not been near the PC. I'm trying to get something together for the current PRC round though!

  2. So while I pick my source for PRC404 (or whichever one it is), I have a question for the participants of this fine musical competition; would you prefer something reasonably simple that would lend itself more to adding your own interpretations, or something more challenging and potentially out of your comfort zone?

  3. I have to disagree, unfortunately. People should be allowed to vote for who they wish, regardless. I have Bunda a third place vote because I felt that it was better than the other entries. Yes, it is a midi rip, but some effort has been put in to make the track different from the source material. I gave feedback in my votes for each track, and they should reflect why I chose to give Bunda my vote instead of the others.

    Maybe you're right...

But, then again. I get feedback on Newgrounds a lot. That's how I got to where I am tbh.

By the way, I voted for your piece in PRC. Good stuff, but room for improvement, too. I left feedback with my vote.

I saw it, and I appreciate it. I'm always looking for feedback on my "work" regardless of whether it's good or bad. And there's ALWAYS room for improvement.

I'm done with PRC, y'all. If you can lose to the objectively worst entry, it's not worth entering anymore. I am severely disappointed with Sonic fans in general right now.

It is absolutely worth entering, regardless if you win or lose. A lot of remixers on this site started off by participating in the PRC and other competitions like it. It's a great way of getting regular feedback on your work while letting you hone techniques and try new things.

  6. I return to you now, at the turn of the tide (sorry, someone mentioned Gandalf earlier and thus quotes will happen).

I have submitted A SUPER SERIOUS METAL TRACK, YOU GUYS. It totally doesn't have mixing issues or a rubbish guitar tone, alright? But I have to submit something for the 400th round, otherwise the communists win.

*Edit* I should probably mention that my source tracks are Gigalopolis Zone and Mecha Green Hill Zone from Sonic Chaos (MS).
