In an orchestral setting bass parts (like tuba and bass trombone) follow roughly as others have said pitch-wise, but tend to be less heavily rhythmic, leaving the more rhythmic parts for percussion/timpani, or full band rhythmic hits.

I saw the ad on Craigslist a while back, then forgot about it. I might be able to find a guitarist for you, I'll PM you whenever he get's back to me. And I'd probably be able to wear a costume and run around stage, depends on if it's going to be thick enough to kill me in the lovely weather we have here.

Sign me up for it! I would be amazed if I won this, because I rarely win these things, but oh well - here's to chance!

I'm highly interested in this, but currently I will offer only my skills as a performer rather than an arranger - I play horn, bass, and sing in the bass range. I should be getting a relatively decent mic soon, so I can give recordings then.

I can play horn - sounds like there are some fun horn horn parts in your arrangement. I can play all the parts, as long as the lower horns aren't too low - my tone is a little bleh in the lower ranges - anything below a low F (Bb concert) and I would have too much trouble unless I can belt it out xP

Just out of curiosity, does this song have any other working titles?
