  1. Voting's so difficult this week...probably going to make last-minute decisions. Thought I heard some cheeky notes of Gravity Beetle in PH's entry. It's that, or I don't know SF themes as well as I thought I did.
  2. Hello all (again), congratulations on making it to the end! I really enjoyed lurking these past couple months and the amazing music your teams cooked up - no seriously, I'd say this was the highlight of my life for its duration, sad though that might sound, ahaha . I've also gained a huge appreciation for the music of the classic series and the games in of themselves because of this competition, so thanks a lot for mitigating that as well. I'm more of a visual artist, but I am super super envious of people with musical chops (there is a lot of admiration mixed in the jealousy). Before this, I wasn't really familiar with OCR, to say nothing of its community, but I think I'd like to frequent this place more often from now on. I'll definitely be keeping track of future competitions. Thank you again! WCRG'11 was a fun ride:) Totally platonic hugs and kisses for all the gentlemen and the lady. Now to get this album cover art done! Thirty-six Robot Masters is a lot to draw... Yours, An effervescent creep
  3. While downloading the new mixes, I just wanted to say that I've been hearing Jewbei's track with key-changed vocals from Flexstyle's entry on top (bad pun) in my head all this past week. Make it happen?
  4. Well, see, now this just throws a wrench into my whole life plan, seeing as you were part of it and all and... Anyways. Sorry if I missed an update on this, but has this competition been officially set to 6 rounds, or 9?
  5. Gonna have to make sure the final album cover has a few 'shut the fuck up's in there - an elevator wouldn't hurt either.
  6. Thanks for being baller!

  7. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one having trouble voting this week. By my untrained ear anyway, it sounds like the production is pretty even and especially high across the board but in terms of the cleverness of the arrangement and incorporation of the two themes, nothing particularly stuck out to me. Everyone's piece was really enjoyable though, and in the end, I went more or less with the tunes that had gotten the most replays - hurtling C7 to an easy first place (if you have the time, btw, I second the notion that you extend this to ten glorious minutes!) By the way, Ecto, after hearing all your lighthearted trash talk in this thread, I was really pleased to finally hear your bite is as good as your bark with Electric Sleep (WHAT? It's not SHEEP?). I so wish I could have voted for four songs instead of three:(
  8. Yeah, Darkesword made sure I had plenty of background to go by! It's been amazing so far - the talent these people have is unbelievable and so enviable.

  9. Yeah gurrrl, yeah!
