    VARN Industries - Supplemental Material

This is the follow-up EP to Volume VI: Original Material, which was a covers album. The tracks here are all the non-cover tracks recorded during that same time. Track 3 was recorded with a sampler my friend Bluesteeze had just given me. Track 6 is the last track Masterminded DJ recorded before going to prison. This album was recorded during a very dark period in my life, followed by months of no musical output at all.

  3. VARN Industries Volume VII: Something

This is my seventh album under the VARN Industries name and I think it accurately represents the current state of affairs in my life. This is a much more laid-back sound for me. I'm really quite happy with this new direction. No real overall theme, just spreading out into new areas. Tracks 2, 5, 7, 8 and 14 are from sessions recorded over the last couple of years on a T solo record that never came to be and 3 is for my beautiful wife Angela. Let me know what you think.

    01. Introductory Track

    02. Tell Me What You Like (Development Version)

    03. Mina's Theme

    04. Better Make It Three

    VARN Industries: Medium Tackle Box

This second follow-up EP to Volume VII was recorded the second week after moving in with my brothers. It consists entirely of beats, conversations from the room and sounds from Batrick's keyboard and my new single-string ukulele. This sounds very different from what you've heard thus far from VARN Industries.

Underground Pipe Labyrinth: St. Anthony's Fire

This is Underground Pipe Labyrinth's second album, St. Anthony's Fire. Aside from the first and last track, everything on this album was recorded live by Skunky and I down in the pipes on 05-15-07. We split a Heineken mini-keg and about a half-ounce down that night before and during the recoding of this. I don't really know how to describe it, but I know you will either love it or hate it. Basically, two very inebriated guys recording psycho-organic folk in a makeshift studio about a quarter mile down a storm drain and about ten feet below the ground. Feedback please.

  4. I like the sort of "edgey, dank, dismal" underground feel it has

    thank you...

I love the occasional PLUNK notes you do on your ukulele.

Seriously, what is this? Sorry if I'm harsh, but hell yeah you shouldn't worry about submitting it to any contests, I tell you, it wouldn't fare very well.

Can you point me at least one second of the song where the SMB underground tune is used? I'm sorry, but I just can't tell. Am I deaf?

How about you pick up a whole string set for your ukulele, and th

...no sorry I just can't take this seriously. Is this a joke tune?

Again, I apologize if I was being harsh. You have A LOT of learning ahead of you.

no apologies needed from anyone and none are given from me. i simply was sharing this because of its inspiration, not to take part in any popularity contests. take it or leave, but thank you for checking it out. and as for the ukulele, it will remain in the shoddy condition i recieved it in, i like it better that way...

This is not an OCR track.

It's got a cool feel, but there's no source content as far as I can hear.

it isn't meant to be. it is what it is. no need to have it on any lists or whatever, it fits comfortably on my album...

  5. Here's a cover I did of the Super Mario Bros. Underground Theme from my newest EP. It was made using my brother's keyboard, a broken-ass single-string ukulele and beats on my computer. I'm not worried about submitting it for any contests or whatever, just figured I'd share it. If you like it, you can download the whole CD for free from my MySpace page (www.myspace.com/man3)...

  6. The lyrics are repulsive. This remix is very, very annoying. I can't believe that people give this sort of crap any praise at all. People that like this must be the same type of people that like Wayne's World or Austin Powers. In other words, they like things that are profoundly annoying.

i'm sorry, but i find this remix incredible, its hilarious, i love it. of course i also find wayne's world and austin powers incredible and hilarious. go figure...
