If you're absolutely certain... Even a WIP is better than nothing at all.
Now my DAW isn't even loading, so even if I would export my 30 seconds I have so far I couldn't upload it and send it by the deadline.

Well shit. Looks like time flew by and I'm probably not going to be able to flesh out this song as much as I would have liked.
It's still complete I guess, but my apologies to NovaReaper for not being on top of my game. (and everyone else I poked fun at for potentially not finishing lol)
It's okay, I might not finish anyways.
Edit: Yeah, I definitely can't do it now. It would just be me copy and pasting midis.

Hmm..well listening a second time, the notation isn't really all that complex. Maybe I'll give it a shot.
Worst comes to worst, just remix your song and incorporate the other via vocals or something.

Hero Bracket Round One: Town Themes
Welcome to the opening round of the ReMix Role-Playing Competition! The Hero Bracket is starting things off with a round revolving around town themes! Towns are a common starting point in RPGs, so it is only natural for the rRPC to begin in a similar fashion. The Hero Bracket graphic will be added to the first post of the compo thread soon, but here is a rundown of our heroes’ starting positions, as well as, their Round One source themes:
djg-music and Nonamer: Hometown Domina - Legend of Mana
urdailywater and HoboKa: Tone of the Town - The Last Story
Ethan Rex and NovaReaper: West Aldia - Arc the Lad II
Yami and evktalo: Land of Beginnings - Bravely Default
ReMixers will have until noon EST on Monday, June 16 to submit their mixes to me via PM. Round One of the Villain Bracket will begin at that time. Be sure to follow the instructions provided in the opening post of the thread when submitting your mixes, I will not accept tracks sent in the wrong format or are improperly titled.
To help keep the various source themes organized in one place, I created a spreadsheet of the rRPC roster that I will update for each round as more source themes are included. That said, Heroes, good luck and have fun!

Trouble is such a strong word. I'm just trying to keep all the sign ups uniform to keep it easy to organize. I got their PMs now but I'm just going to leave this here since it's kind of a recurring thing:
Also, NovaReaper, for your number one pick, are you running as Ren or Tlachtga, or are they an inseparable pair like Zorn and Thorn or Solt and Peppor?

We're 1/4 of the way to filling out the target roster. And everyone's number one picks are split evenly between heroes and villains too.
So far we've got in the heroes bracket:

Just a friendly reminder that sign-ups will be opening tomorrow. It will probably be around noonish EST when that happens, give or take. Just wait for the official post, instructions on how to sign up will be included there and edited into the opening post as well. I will be asking for a list of characters when you sign up, so be sure to consider possible back ups in the event your first pick is already taken.

into the mixes now. Nova you have no idea how long i've been waiting to see someone use new scool in a remix. (nuschool? New Skyool?) Did you draw a picture of sonic and end up with that as a groove?
Dusk are you friggen kidding me? We both used the 2 sources in similar ways.
It was pretty much me just picking random Synth1 sounds and see what works.

There is already a Sonic competition right now, I'd at least wait until it's over before trying to recruit for another. You also might want to give a lot more details, see MindWanderer's post. You should also read through the Competitions Code of Conduct and check out the formatting of some other competitions. You're current explanation is very strange.
It's odd that you would make this thread after posting in the SZRC thread about being disappointed at missing the signups. I don't get it, is this some sort of response to missing the signups?
I can kinda see the appeal, in that you have another competition because too many people missed it.
