yea haha. I kind of agree with you there. The piece loses a bit of steam and i felt like i may have overextended the rhythm to make up for it and added some percussive choices that may not benefit the melody or development quite as much as I'd like. I like the way it sounds but I am not quite sure it's an effective way to make the piece work.
I actually would prefer to leave the piano chords back b/c it lends itself more readily to dynamic change to begin a piece with quieter dynamics and then provide a nice powerful moment where everything comes together late ron. When the 30 second period jumps in, it creates a far greater sense of power and really heightens the drama of the piece, which is precisely what I was intending to do . This is why I'll typically leave the intro of a piece a little sparser to start out with and build as I go. Thanks for your thoughts
Fair enough Keep up the good work!

Player Phase 1 is hands down my fav track from my game, followed by the main theme.
I actually plan on doing remixes of both songs here before the end of the year

Really really like this track. I feel it's a tad to long though. The first half is excellent but I think the 2nd half sort of trails off on some different ideas that don't benefit the rest of the song as much as they could.
As for mixing I would bring up the Piano chords in the first 30 seconds a tad bit, the chords really bring out the melody and I think bringing up the piano in the mix would emphasize that. After 30 seconds it seems as if everything is a little more even, I can hear the piano better.

I am digging the bass lines in this song. It ends rather abruptly though. I feel like from 2:25 onward you could of ended it in quite a few other places.
Ice Cap Zone BEFORE Ice Cap Zone (song origin FINALLY REVEALED!)
