Hello! I made cover for the Smurfs NES soundtrack. Song is "Flight on a Stork" (Act 05). I wanted to lift up this awesome theme with strings and distortion guitar :D. Feedback is appreciated!

The drums sound weird, their dynamics and stereo distribution, but I like the rest. The break at 1:41 could use a bit more build-up or something to punctuate it with, it seems a little random. I like the slow pan stereo effect on the guitar plucks. Cool stuff.
Thanks for detailed feedback. I think i'm gonna work this song again soon and try to enhance drum track :)!

Interesting approach; I think with a nice, soft jazz drummer this would really shine. Gotta work with what you got, but that drum machine is very... drum machine-ish.
The acoustic guitar work is a really cool interpretation of this source. J-pop often has some really great themes hidden behind their bombastic arrangements, which this arrangement capitalizes on nicely. Enjoyed it quite a bit!
Thanks Gario for the feedback! It would be awesome if there was a neat jazz drummer. If i someday work this song again, i'll definitely try to approach drums with that idea :).

Hi again :). I published my first Kingdom Hearts cover. The song is Simple and Clean. Like the name says, i arranged it with clean tone :D. Feedback is appreciated!

Hi! I finished my new cover. It's End of the Dark from Policenauts game. The soundtrack has awesome 80's 90's feeling and i wanted to bring it out more in this arrangement with my style :D. Feedback is appreciated :).

Hey man, this rocks for sure. Arguably the hippest part of the tune is the beginning with those sweet subdivisions, though, so I'd recommend adding that in. May be tough to get the hang of, but would be totally worth mastering.
Thanks for the feedback! When i have time, i will get back to this arrangement and try that

Yo! I uploaded new cover on YouTube. Time for some tactical cardboar...krhm i mean espionage action! :D. In this arrangement, i focused more on drums so i could bring some 80's or 90's feel for it. Feedback is appreciated!

Hello! I finished new cover for Pokemon - Bicycle Theme. I recorded some strings to spice my lead guitar parts, so the whole arrangement would sound much fuller. Feedback is welcome :)!

So I'm sorry I can't find a more diplomatic way of saying this, but....
The percussion is so distractingly repetitive that my ears feel exhausted by 30 seconds in, and it's difficult to actually listen critically past that. The unchanging powerchords on rythm guitar don't help.
Having said that, the lead work is pretty nicely done. You're clearly both technically proficient on your instruments.
But.... I'm sorry, the percussion is just so repetitive it distracts from the rest of the performance.Yeah it's true. Only place where the percussion changes is 3:14-3:58, but rest of the arrangement it's same. Thanks for the feedback!

Yo! I published my first collaboration cover with Arzie Van Dee :)! It's Mega Man 2 - Dr. Wily's Castle Theme.
Our cover has quite a lot improvisation and original touch, which bends the original theme into a new direction. All feedback is welcome and appreciated!! =)

Hello! I finished my first Pokemon arrangement and wanted to share it with you people here :)! Violet city theme is quite tight track and it's very fun to play with guitar.
My arrangement is not very complicated, but i wanted to give this track some of my own rock / metal kinda spin :D.
Here is the link to my cover:

Awesome!
The only thing I'd add is that I'd love to have those initial harmonics throughout the entire track (or at least for a few more bars).
But still awesome, though.
Thanks! Yeah that's a good idea. I will experiment it when i continue this track :)!

Sounds like something you'd hear in an old school JRPG. Maybe when you discover a party member's backstory, or you find the town they grew up in. Only it's not what it used to be. Or something. Great work!
I was actually thinking similar kind of events when i composed this :D. Thank you!

Very nice! Though it would be better if it was longer and had a bigger story to tell.
Thanks! Yes it's a bit short one :D. I have some plans to continue this track someday, but i just wanted to share it in this form now :).

Yo! I published my first composition on YouTube and i also want to share it with you people here :).
It's quite peaceful track.

Haha, shoot. You don't have to compete for the tracks yet - you're in the clear. The whole 'Survival of the fittest' thing is for people that miss a deadline listed, which is not for another month or so.
A WIP tomorrow would be great, though - I look for it.
Ah damn, i screwed up some of my recordings . I will send you my WIP ASAP.
-
Gario: If i send you tomorrow two WIP tracks, do i still have to compete to hold my tracks?
-
-
Alright! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to arrange those two songs. What method do you prefer for sending WIP files :)?

As many as you feel you can handle. If you can manage a good WIP for two tracks and keep up with deadlines, they'll be yours.
And yes, Lufia's soundtrack is amazing.
Okay cool. I have material from my previous projects and i link some of them here to show what kind of things i can possibly do. Not greatest arrangements, but there are certain elements that i can mold into something new for this album :D.
