  1. Hopefully I managed to get everything nailed down on this version to @Hemophiliac liking. I saw the high end areas and reduced them pretty significantly so it’s not ear piecing and changed up the the variation of the chorus by adding a new instrument and adding effects to it. I lowered the snare so hopefully it’s not clipping anymore. The skipping has been removed as I discovered it was an input error in the sequencer. Let me know what y’all think.

  2. Title is still a work  in progress

I was going back through some really old tracks I had start and came across this little gem. This track is over two years old and finally got a proper work over now that I have better plugins.

I also got the chord structure from a very famous piece of classical music can you guess it? 8)

  3. I am going to agree with apzx. The track is really top heavy. Maybe it's just me but I am having a hard time picking out what is supposed to be the melody in this track. I like the energy as it's calming but yet still driving at the same time (even though this track is the bane of my Mario kart existence). Good work so far though!

  4. Everybody Super Sonic Racing!
I am looking for singers who want to help with vocals on this track so i don't have to use a spot holder. The vocals are currently being covered by a simple Saw till i can get my hands on the vocals for this song as I can not do this song justice with my singing voice. The final will not have the Saw in it and obviously an actual ending.

Really like this track. Love the FM bass growls and the synth lead. Out of the works of yours floating around on the forum, this is probably my favorite.

As much as I like the lead, I feel like it wears a little thin by the time the halfway point of the song arrives. Maybe trying to layer or switch to another lead might keep things interesting. Kick also feels a tad weak, so maybe boost that a smidgen.

Can't wait for the next update. :)

hey thanks man. This song was stuck in development hell for like a year and a half because I couldn't find the right sounds for it plus I had no idea what I was doing back then lol. Now that I worked on other styles I think I have found my two main styles: Dance Hall/Electronic like this track and Chillstep. The middle part is funny cause I change from the Act 1 theme to Hidden palace zone and wanted a more chill out kinda feel so I took the edge off the lead (which is two different instruments) but maybe I do need a new one for that part :|. I thought the kick was fine but then again I am still using craptastic headphones so your probley right about maybe adding a midbass booster on it. Anyways, thanks again man.

  6. Trying my hand at Electronica with possible my favorite S&K song of all time... Lava Reef / Hidden Palace Zone! S3&K was my favorite game and first game I ever owned (Yes I had both the S&K lock-on cartige and Sonic 3) growing up so I figured why not tip my hat to the game that made me love video games. Keep doing Great things SEGA!

  7. Its a good foundation but there are few things that stand out for me right now.

    1. the sixtieths (eighths ?) sound out of time to me. I don't if you have a delay on or they are out of sync but I sounds off to me after listening to the original.

    2. I can't tell what style your going for here. I want to say either minimal house but the chiptune stuff on top the drum kit going into your piano / melody section doesn't seem to match to me.

Like I said, these are just my opinions but hey keep up the good work
