I had a harder time beating Emerald than Ruby... but Omega Weapon of FFVIII requires an special mention. I can't remember how many times Zell had to dance on its face with his fists to prevent the bastard from pullin' off the Meggido's Flame.

Maybe it has been covered too (I don't have time to read 62 pages, neither) but Shinryu from FFV kicked my arse lots of times before I could get around to kill him. Never open mystery chests.
