    Personally, I'd like to play through a Mario game with a new character. Like...Mallow? Mallow might've been fun to get through Galaxy with. Or even Sonic! Mario in Sonic Rush 4!

    Wouldn't that make it... I dunno, not a Mario game anymore?

    I'm super-stoked for Bioshock too, especially after the slick website 2K put up for the game. I'm really in love with the decaying art-deco flavor they gave this game and it looks tres-snazzy to boot.

    I'll probably end up going to GameStop and try to get the limited edition set this weekend. That way I already have the game when I get a 360...

    ...Is it just me, or would anybody else here love to at least *TRY* the Silent Hill arcade game? Just out of curiosity...I mean, sure, it's as non-canonical as can be, and the graphics don't look too great, but a shoot-em-up is always good fun at the arcades, and one with some Silent Hill flavor can't be *that* bad.

    I'm thinking about maybe getting that Silent Hill 3 manga too, as very honestly, Silent Hill 3 really sparked something with me. I'm not exactly sure why people are so divided on its quality, but I loved that game so much....just felt to me like it was the most fun to play, with some of the most endearing characters of the series so far. The manga's gotta be great, too :) And who knows, there more than likely would be some extra scenes in it. Usually, those things don't copy their source material verbatim, right? Too bad it's in Japanese though >.<

    Erm, actually, it's a novel and not a manga. As in more words than pictures. Heck, probably no pictures at all.

    I would love to play the arcade game, though. Maybe if it reaches a certain level of popularity, it'll see a release on a home console as a light gun game :D

    edit: wa-hey, on a more serious note, I've got mine pre-ordered too. Can't wait to get it, blast through the entire thing in 3 days and then make a half-hearted attempt to read it again only to lose interest 4 chapters in and never try again, just like with the other books.

    Doesn't mean I won't enjoy it though.

    Fark, that looks awesome. The bit where he fires the gun in the jeep (just after he cuts the guys head off) is crazy-violent. That's right, crazy-violent.

    I'd rather pretend he punches the guy's head off. That way, it's a whole lot more awesome.

    So i made it to the elite four in Diamond. My infernape is level 52, dialga 52, gyarados 51, staraptor 55, floatzel 54. And i don't think i can even make it past the first guy (girl?). I barely made it past my rival, i never had a problem with any of the other battles in the game though. I used to think i was over leveled quite a bit but the game seems to have caught up with me. So are there some other areas i missed or something? Where's a good place to gain levels?

    Right now, probably the best place to level up would be Victory Road. It'll take some time, but if it gets you past the E4 easier, it's worth it. Here's what I do: Get a Pokemon that knows Thief, and take it up to route 210. There are wild Chansey in that area and you can try to swipe a Lucky Egg off of one. I got one on my third try, your results may vary.

    It'll make levelling up go a bit faster, especially if some of your Pokemon are traded ones.

    edit: oh yeah, once I can finally reach Pal Park, I'll have plenty of junk to trade. Jirachi, anyone?

    According to Christophe Gans, Roger Avary and fantasy author Neil Gaiman will team up to write "Silent Hill 2" reports DVD Rama.

    Avary will get to work on the project just after he completes work on his "Driver" script.

    Gans, who helmed the first film along with French genre feature "Brotherhood of the Wolf", may or may not direct the sequel as he is busy prepping his adaptation of "Onimusha".

    Poinko did a bunch of pokeon drawings up, and they were great. He said that we coulduse them for the project. But he hasn't been around for a long time. No replies to email or PMs leaves me thinking that he has either died in some sort of combine accident, or he's lost access to the internet (jail? Military service? Marriage?).

    Try none of the above :P

    My iBook died a cruel and untimely death a few months back and I never got around to filling out my bookmarks list on the new comp. So I kinda... well, forgot about the project... :oops:

    I never received any messages from you which leads me to believe that my accounts are either still tied to my old email address, or messageboard haet poinko.

    Now that I know for sure the project is still being worked on, I'll make myself more available :D

    And Doulifeé, them's some damn fine sigs.

    All Time Hardest Boss

    I'd have to add in a character that I doubt has been put on this list, which is a shame, 'cos he's a real beast, too.

    The level 200 Zenothlee at the end of Grandia Xtreme. First of all, a pain in the ass because he's level 200. But he's also at the bottom of a 100-floor dungeon. Plus, he's resistant to quite a bit of magic, and has insane defense and HP. Not to mention the backup of four different floating crystals(think Culex, but meaner), and the crystal regenerate after you defeat them.

    The battle itself will take forever, especially if you factor in the time it takes to get to the bottom of the dungeon and the time it takes to level up enough to not get killed in the first five minutes, and to track down enough equipment to survive and do damage to him.
