  1. Chrono Cross. To this day cannot listen to Unstolen Jewel, because of the ending.

Oh and thanks for reminding me, fuckers... now cannot get it out of my head... it is a great song, but man, it has such an amazingly strong emotional effect on me, I can't describe it. I actually haven't listened to it for a decade, but as soon as I start thinking about it, it has the same effect.

EDIT: Looking through the thread it looks like a few people also mentioned Chrono Cross ending. Good to have company.

Heh, Prisoners of Fate or People Seized with Life (can't remember which is the correctly translated title) always gets me. It's the song playing when you fight Dario... and like, a lot of the other sadder moments throughout the game. I'm replaying the game now, as a matter of fact. Never bothered to try and get the other endings, so I'm gonna try it out.

  2. You can also use a Steam account to log into Spiral Knights.

Unless that's the account you're referring to.

I think it wouldn't let me on because my connection here is kinda weird. It looks fun though, hopefully I can make it work.

  3. no he's probably saying that walking around a big empty place doing literally nothing is boring

Yeah, for a video that was meant to highlight how cool the gameplay is going to be, they picked a pretty awful segment. I'm not saying I won't give the game a chance, though.

ps bleck what is your sig i like it?

  4. SNES - Earthbound - Got Sword of Kings without trying on first playthrough. I didn't have the instruction manual and didn't know it was that hard to get until I went back and looked. I was so happy!

Getting that damn sword takes me so long every time I play the game that it isn't even fun after that point because I'm way too strong for my own good.

  5. Beating Ozma in Final Fantasy IX was really fucking hard, but immensely rewarding.

Beating Final Fantasy Tactics using only Ramza wasn't so much of a challenge and slightly boring because you kind of just master everything in as few battles as possible by yelling and accumulating your brains out.

I'm pretty proud of beating Secret of Mana as a team with a friend of mine as kids because he had the attention span of a cardboard box.

Apparently I only play RPGs, but I won't apologize for that.

  6. look at the Mana series and Crystal Chronicles; two series they've managed to completely lose the point of after a certain point.

Yeah that's what scares me about it. I'm curious though, is if any of the story had been written for "Chrono Brake" and if Square would give that to Obsidian to work with.

And as one of the seemingly few people who loved Cross just as much if not more than Trigger, if they didn't make a direct sequel but somehow loosely tied it together like CC/CT and it was a well done game, I'd be more than happy.

As said before, Mitsuda is a MUST for composing and I'd like to see more dual and triple techs, Cross kinda blew it on that one (probably because making dual and triple techs for the ridiculously large cast would be a nightmare).

  7. As a bass player / vocalist for a band, I think I'm pretty outspoken especially in terms of stage presence. My guitar player doesn't like to talk too much on stage unless he's pretty drunk.

In real life though, I'm pretty easy going and mellow, but I can be really talkative given the circumstance, and I like to make people laugh, I don't need to be the center of attention, but I won't just sit in the corner and let everyone forget I'm around.

Our drummer, I think is kinda stereotypical, he's always going on about having a massive dong and being a badass. I love the guy, but he seems to fit the stereotypical drummer mold pretty well :)
