What would be cool to see, would be a port+extras or remake of Secret of Mana, with wifi for multiplayer, bottom screen used to allow on-the-fly menu navigation so that the gameplay isnt broken up, and bug fixes for the various glitches in the game. What I'd love to see, though I don't know if the data is even still around, is for some of the cut content to be reinserted in the game. For those unaware, SoM was originally to be a SNES CD game, and when they put it on cart instead they had to cut content. Some sources have said up to 40% of the game's content was removed or edited in some way.
At the very least, it'd be cool if they made the Lunar Palace a full dungeon (and maybe put in a chest and a boss that could drop the missing Glove and Axe Orbs).
Game needs a serious script retranslation if they do it (one much like FFT PSP received). The dialogue and text is so full of errors and simple writing that it sucks all the enjoyment out of the game for me.

Also, I plan to sleep to the clock ticking. Is that... worrisome?
Dude, you me and like 10,000 other people. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

In front of Einhander II on the "Ain't gonna happen because we're too busy whoring out Final Fantasies" list most likely.
For what it's worth, they just re-released Einhander on the JP PSN store.

Oh shit. And as I post this the pic in the upper right is Crono - a coincidence? I think not.

Okay, sorry for not taking notes, I guess I should from now on. As far as the end... I had better things to do that read it. Like fap to Martha Stewart.
Then by all means, please go and masturbate to Martha Stewart and stop subjecting the rest of intelligent humanity to your incredibly well-thought-out insights.

View trailer here:
I read the comic recently, and I remember thinking what a disgusing novel it was, and hoping God, I hope they dont make a movie out of this. And here it is.
The comic was based off the Idea of a Fraternity of Supervillains, who destroyed the last superhero in some time in the 1960, and now rules the world. Theres this kid, the bastard offspring of the worlds geatest badass, who was killed while making a gay porno, whose life sucks and then he gets his inheritance: membership in the fraternity and a life of doing whatever the fuck he wants. And he does this the rest of the comic. Theres some bull about the supervillains killing each other but it was all in all retarded.
The movie, however, has made the supervillains assassins and added an all star crew, a basic formula for sucess. Im going to see this shit, if for nothing more than seeing Angelina Jolie naked again. =P
It's fairly clear from your post that you have no comprehension of what the comic is about. First of all, the story goes that all the supervillains in the world killed the heroes in the 1980s. Secondly, this is not even a plot point in the movie.
Next, Wanted the comic is a sort of satire that pokes fun at the stereotypes of the superhero comic book. The movie? Not so much; action flick.
Third, the whole point of the comic was the end: you and me and all the other comic book readers out there are living in a world where supervillains exist, but heroes only live in comic books and our imaginations because that's what the villains want us to think.
Next time perhaps you could look a little deeper at what the author is trying to get across with his work. I fear for you if you ever read Watchmen.

I'm going to go ahead and jump on the fanboy wagon, so here goes. Wii fans are already getting crapped out of the next Resident Evil as well as Street Fighter 4. I think Capcom kinda owes the Nintendo fans.
Capcom owes nobody anything. They're a corporation out to make money.

Only if his cousin/brother isn't there.
Oh yeah. Forgot about that. (Not so) good times.

I still need to get Exit.
You should get the XBLA version because they added achievements and crap ton of new stages.

Can't we just have a party at Trenthian's house again like last year? BJ's was the SHIIIIIIIIIIIIT and I want to go back.

I personally laugh at any implication Capcom's HD Remix somehow wouldn't generate anywhere near the profit that it would had it not used fan arrangements that are derivative renditions of their own property in the first place.
That's not my implication. My implication is that you guys got the

Did I miss something because I don't read comics?
Venom and Eddie Brock both refer to themselves as "we" and "us"

i just discovered settlers of catan (don't laugh). is the xbl version any good? and, for that matter, does anyone have a points card i could buy? cause i really want to try it.
The digital game is awesome: no clean up or set up.

I love that there is no singular Jill Goldin anymore, it's always us. It's so damn SWEET.(since Capcom is crediting him two games for having his music in SSF2 Turbo: HD Remix, woooo).
Whoa whoa whoa...The recompense for using Blood on the Asphalt in SS2THD was each remixer got two free Capcom games? Really? My god, Capcom is taking that deal and laughing all the way to the bank.

so, tell me. has anyone played chromehounds? it looks really interesting, but does anyone have hands-on experience with it?
One of the most awesome online games ever. It's made by the guys who did Armored Core, but the game is very different. It's a much slower, tactical, group-based type of game; one might even say a "mech sim" if such a thing existed. You still build your own mechs (and believe me, you'll spend hours tinkering in the garage with your own designs) from parts you buy with money you earn from battles.
The single player is really an extended tutorial and is pretty much a throwaway after you learn how to play.
Online, however, Chromehounds rules. It's kind of like an MMO: there is a persistent war happening between three different national factions for control of the country the game takes place in. What this means is that the nature of the game changes even when you're not playing. You start by choosing a squad to join, and here's where it gets important: Chromehounds is not a game you can just buy and jump into online and play with anyone. It's certainly possible of course, but it's most rewarding if you can make some friends who play it first, or if you can convince some of your friends to get the game along with you so you can play together. Once you form your squad, then you choose a nation to belong to. There are three different ones (a U.S.A. clone, a Russia clone, and a Middle East clone). Each nation has access to different parts and specializes in different combat styles. Luckily you can change nations after the war has ended (about once every 2-3 weeks or so).
Once you have your squad, your nation, and your mech, you jump into any of the contested maps and play against either the CPU or another squad. Victory on a map earns you points towards your nation's control of that map, and once you control 100% of that map, you can advance the front of the war to the next map, with the ultimate goal being to reach and defeat a nation's capital home map to eliminate them from the war. Along the way you earn money to beef up your mech or create new designs. Once the war is over (either when one side wins or when the game's pre-determined time limit is up, usually a month or two), everything resets and you can start again.
If you're not into the online war, you can also play quick skirmishes against other teams for fun or to test your mech designs; these battles have no bearing on the outcome of the war.
Chromehounds is an awesome game, but having people to play with is the difference between being really bored and confused or having a really unique enjoyable experience.
If you know anybody who's going to start playing, drop me a PM and I'll join up with you guys. My old squad has been inactive for some time, but I'm always up to play Chromehounds.

I could totally go for some K-Bups right now.

Releases confirmed for arcades, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The home versions will have a bonus character (or characters) I believe. Online play also confirmed yesterday.

All this great shit being announced for PS3 and Xbox 360... Nothing for the Wii.
Oh well, I'm really looking forward to this. I just got a great job, so I should be able to afford a PS3 within a couple months.
All the cool kids do the Xbox thing, dood
Also, is it possible to be excited about awesome games anymore on the internet without people bitching about Wii or not-Wii within 10 minutes? Jesus fuck, I'm sick of reading it everywhere.
BG&E2 just got officially announced, you sods. BG&E2, a sequel to a game that bombed harder than Pearl Harbor. This defies all business and logic sense. But the world will see it. Can we ignore the Wii for a bit and celebrate in unity?
-
Was this actually recorded in a coffee shop? The R&B in the background sucks.

I beaten halo 3, gears of war, and assasins creed(got it for the ps3). I'm gonna start mass effect later today. Lost odyssey is already on my to buy list. Gta 4 I was thinking of getting it for the ps3(is there a big differance between the two versions?).Thanks for the suggestions and keep them coming.
Btw any notable xbox live games worth buying?
Worms, Rez HD, Catan, Carcassonne, Puzzle Quest, Puzzle Fighter HD, Assault Heroes (and Assault Heroes 2), and the list goes on. You could spend weeks just cruising through XBLA demos. PLenty of quality stuff.

Anybody wanna recommend some games? I'm Getting my elite tomorrow. Not gonna pay for the gold account so no online play and I'm not a big FPS fan so take that into consideration.
Don't let me down guys
GTA IV comes with a free month of XBL gold.
I also suggest Mass Effect (best 360 game), Assassin's Creed, Lost Odyssey, and Gears of War.
