  1. Hello! I'm back with another chill track for your consideration, though this one is a bit wonkier. I've always loved the Mario Party music and figured I'd do a take on the song that gets stuck in my head the most, "Play A Mini-Game" from the original Mario Party. Please let me know your thoughts, in particular with regards to the EQ. Thanks! Drive link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gk-2xbJwQoURXWNXXI7REO2QZPfJ3Sdl/view?usp=sharing Original Track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGrWq6CvD04
  2. Made a Hard Man cover earlier and thought I'd see if there was ways to improve it before submitting it. Also, I'm self taught on pretty much everything so it's always good to get some feedback from more experienced people. Here's the Youtube link. Thanks in advance!
  3. A trap/orchestral remix of the Among Us main theme. There was so little material to work with, but I like what I came up with
  4. That's my first ReMix. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19sXKn5D45eJtQriFXC2rlY-muYS6nSp6/view?usp=sharing It's medley of various tracks from Sonic Drift 2, like "Title", races, jingles and "Credits".
  5. Here is my version : https://youtu.be/jVZpHFm6WUM Here is the Original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEnYrJynuSc
  6. Hi Again Got a new remix, Izayoi from the Shiboi 3 Soundtrack. Its always been one of my favourites. Here's hoping i can do it justice. I'd love any feedback or criticism on the mix, composition, arrangement etc. Thanks for your Time!! Remix: Original:
  7. Super Street Fighter 2 - T Hawk Theme Remix (UPDATED) Hi! Hoping to get some feedback on this remix ive done. I'm mostly done with it but i'm trying to polish it up. Some questions. Is it too busy, cluttered sounding? Is it too bass heavy? I tried a brighter variant with more mids and went back to this. The instrumentation ok? Also if you spot any faux pas in there that ive missed, let me know and i'll argue that it was intentional :P Thanks for the advice, ive made some small updates.less swing, levels on pads changed in places. added some definition to the lead sound (hopefully). layered a couple more instruments the comp section, ive made it a little better. sorry liontamer, i didnt change it that much i kinda like the simplicity of it. I'm hoping to get this to a point where i can submit it. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Remix:(updated version) Original:
  8. Hello everyone, I have made a medley of the three American fighters from Street Fighter II (Balrog, Ken, and Guile). I thought it might be appropriate as this time of year seems to get overlooked in themes, but I also don't want to overshadow the reason for the season. Thanksgiving is traditionally and American holiday, so I thought I'd bring in an anthem worthy of a world warrior. I'm happy to be in a position to submit for feedback as I am pretty proud of how this has turned out so far. Thank you for listening. Source: Balrog Ken Guile
  9. A remix from a game that's not out yet... Why not? This song has lot of sentimental value to me cos this teaser song from Deltarune Chapter 2 (if that is what it's called) was released to Twitter by Toby Fox around the time my firstborn son was born. I had the idea for this cover/remix all the way back then, but because of the family situation the music making needed to take a backseat. Took me 10 months but better late than never, right? Musically I am in my comfort zone here - heavy but melodic - but I wanted to have a pretty faithful remix from the beginning and then go to my own direction still trying to sound similar enough to the original's tone. I played an octave down guitar riff around the middle, sounds pretty gnarly! Also this is the first time I actually played the keyboard parts myself, yay me! Enjoy! Original song by Toby Fox
  10. This was difficult to do solely because it's in 3/4 and trying to program drums in 3/4 is for whatever reason rather difficult for me. Thank you for looking!
  11. I think it's mostly done, but I'm new to music production still(about 1 year experience). This is my first post hear, although this site changed my life years and years ago when I had first discovered video game remixes!
  12. Would this be a solid track for the OCR community? It's already out on several media platforms and I've mostly heard good feedback. https://open.spotify.com/track/2nb5W939A6LYxH8ks0lEdj?si=nTA9QaE6SKGA3PmrJw3zXQMin
  13. Hi, Here is a piano arrangement of Final Fantasy 8 - Spy. Style a little jazzy, with rhythm more marked than my usual works. And a lot a dissonances. NEW VERSION : Original here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txs-MnMiP2w I was in difficulty to keep the tempo. I've for this corrected some mistakes. I think it can't be heard, I hope so Any feedbacks is welcome !
  14. Here's a song very commonly remixed. I used 3 different subgenres to remix this. It's a mix of psytrance/house/drum and bass. Thank you for looking!
  15. Hi there, I made an orchestral medley consisting of Area 6, Venom Airspace, and Space Armada from Starfox. Enjoy! Starfox Orchestral Medley
  16. New version out now! I tried making varying the velocities as well as adding some instruments to better suit the softer parts. I think I'm ready for review now! The idea behind this remix was to recreate one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite games. I always wondered what the Objection song wound sound like with some more oomph, so I tried it out myself. Libraries: Hollywood Strings, Hollywood brass, ProDrummer Old versions: Version 1 Source
  17. Salutation everyone! Please, listen to the last version: V6, now with REAL GUITARS bits in it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/144o313TO7cJql9JJuTRYo57A90Qqlkku/view?usp=sharing Every time I start a new track, I think about the story it will tell. Concerning this one, it's kind of a crossover between The Matrix and the original story of the game: the hacker Link tries to hack into the JANUS system to find answers. The thing is, nothing goes according to plan... Regarding the arrangement, I was inspired by different sources, such as Master Boot Record, The Algorithm or to some extend Igorrr (all fantastic bands, but rather extreme), even though I shifted to something different along the way, and added some trance elements. Overall, I think it's a very fun track, but I lack confidence in my mixing/mastering skills, so I'd appreciate if you could focus more on this aspect. God, I hope you'll like it as much as I do Really, I'm open to all sorts of feedback. And of course, thank you for reading all this! Merry Christmas, happy new year, and have a fun listening tl;dr: fun electro/metal remix, I'm looking for feedback, and hope to be posted Old versions: version 1 version 2 version 3 version 4 version 5 version 5 more bass Source: Gameboy version / Switch version Post submission edit: I hid stuff in the specter of the track. I tried to hint at it (read the first letters of each paragraph of this post up to the tl;dr) but I guess it was too much work for anyone to notice ^^ So here is a link to a pdf detailling all the easter eggs I hid in the track : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1B4o86pP--KYy7mTOpKp7JxvTTCMjK1vY Also, thank you to everyone who listened the track and commented, be it on the discord or the forums, and most particularly to Timaeus who played a major role in the production of this remix. See you all soon, be it for another remix of mine, or just to rework this in case of rejection!
  18. Hi there! I made an arrangement for Strikers 1945 II - Battle of Extreme North There has been some time since I played or recorded guitar, but this one got my fire back. Here is the original soundtrack:
  19. Hey there, I'm thinking of submitting this piece, and would be curious to get some opinions on it. It's an orchestral rendition of various themes from RDR infused with a bit of a rock vibe here and there. Getting brass samples to sound good is the holy grail for me, so I'd appreciate getting some insights into how off the mark I am. Thanks for your time
  20. Original song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvZ9zhFdVro (by Ben Daglish RIP 2018 https://ocremix.org/artist/31/ben-daglish) My Remix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3invpmmbSI Please leave feedback of what could be improved.
  21. Hello everyone! Been a long time since I've posted anything on here (over a decade!). I have here a dance style remix of "Rebel Army" from Final Fantasy II, titled "Rebels Like to Dance Too!". I consider this pretty much complete and ready for submission, but want some feedback first. Thanks! -Brink https://drive.google.com/open?id=1uHWydbVZLy3gg8JJp9CCyT5vpoIr6b4V Source:
  22. Hi, Here my arrangement about the ocarina song. Could you give me your feedback please. Thanks for your time!
  23. Ok, so I am starting a new thread for this. This is quite a different take than I have done lately on this tune...and I can post all of the different versions that have been commented on if asked. This is my first version of this that is not done in LMMS, instead I have used Cakewalk for my DAW. There are things I couldn't get to work in LMMS that I can in Cakewalk, so I gave up on using LMMS for this submission. Also, this is done with VST's, as opposed to soundfonts, and I have finally started figuring out how to do some of the things I have read about on this side about production. Of course, I'm still a novice, but I think this is much closer to the mark than previous attempts:) Please please please, anyone who takes a gander at this, leave feedback, and thanks for the listen!:) https://drive.google.com/open?id=12WbmA6_ltLoA6XDeIDA42SXX-48WzsXz
  24. Yo, check this out: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q-uTroA69zAma3ERpEFG4BF9WyIaydi1/view?usp=sharing So, I tried to make something with synths and piano. Feedback is appreciated!
  25. Hey there, I made this some time ago, thought I might also share it. I basically took the well known Pallet Town Theme and made some Piano Variations in the Style of 18th century composer Joseph Haydn. Enjoy! Feedback is always appreciated. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1eSQgQKNg0pqf8r6OG0JXMxHPwR9x4N28
