Instrumental & Vocal Skills (Other)

  1. Greetings, This is my interpretation of Trisection, one of the battle themes from Final Fantasy Tactics. Still obviously in the orchestral genre, but playing around with some different instrumentation, movement, reharmonization and the like. Also testing out an “adventure” template. My version: Original: Thank you for listening!
  2. Hey everybody, got a new arrangement here. This is an arrangement for full Orchestra, entitled "On the Sea, the Land and in the Sky", containing music from a few games in the Legend of Zelda Series. After a brief introduction, where some of the themes are introduced, the music starts off in grand fashion with The Great Sea from Wind Waker. Afterwards, there is a transition to a calmer, pastoral and serene collection of tunes from Hyrule Field from Ocarina of Time, before the music builds up and concludes with a big, powerful rendition of The Sky from Skyward Sword. Also made through Sibelius 7 and NotePerformer. Hopefully, the strings don't sound so artificial!!
  3. My current draft of my cover of Hateno Village's theme. I had heard the track an 8th note off from what I believe the intended rhythm is, and I kind of preferred it that way, so I made an arrangement based around that. Let me know what you think it needs! Original:
  4. Hi! I only got to play Undertale when it came to Nintendo Switch and I'm happy that I finally did. Amazing story and gameplay with some really memorable tunes. This one just stuck out as a song I really wanna cover, so here you go! I know there's like a million covers of this already, but with this one I really wanted to stuck to the original arragement as much as possible. Enough talk, have fun! Original songs:
  5. Here's a pretty straightforward metal cover of Undertale's MEGALOVANIA (as if there weren't enough of those). I did one years ago but this one came out much, much better, though admittedly I did rush it as I recorded most of it in a day. I really like the mixing/mastering on this one and any feedback on that aspect is appreciated. SoundCloud:
  6. Kind of an older song a mode awhile ago but what the heck.A remix of a great song from an underrated gem on the SEGA Genesis: Sonic Spinball Enjoy! An source material for eval purposes
  7. A simple and relaxing remake of Kakariko Village from the Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time. I turned it into something like a waltz, and added a touch of Zelda's theme. Hope you enjoy it! -Juke
  8. Hello fellow OCR's, I've made a synthwave version of one of my favorite classic soundtracks from the true Dark Souls of videogames.
  9. Hi everyone, For a musical challenge, I did a short arrangement of a Deltarune's track (The Chase). Goal was to make a Deltarune's "christmassy" arrangement in one week. Not sure why but Christmas always sounded "Burton-esque" to me, so that's where I went with it I hope you'll enjoy.
  10. Hello OCR. Following JohnStacy's advice, I will post my old remixes here to let you guys tell me if they are OCR worthy. I have many PS remixes completed and self-published, but as per forum rules, I will go with one remix at a time. Once that particular remix is completely dealt with, I will move on to the next. I am in absolutely no hurry. This is "Orakian Anger", a PSIII remix/medley of several songs: (mainly) Rhys's Anger, The Lashute city theme and one of the battle themes. It's been on Youtube for three years and has been generally well received. I am not opened to editing this song any further, only to get an opinion to know if it is worthy of OCR standards for official submission. Here is the link. Have a good listen and thank you all.
  11. Remix of the excellent Rocket Surgeon track from the original No more Heroes ost. Hope you enjoy. ROCKET MEMORIES (SOUNDCLOUD)

  14. I finished another one of my emulation style remixes. All sounds extracted from the original games as separate channels using sound emulation, then mixed together/distorted/stretched/manipulated. Sounds are from NES Castlevania 2, Super Castlevania 4, SNES Dracula X, Castlevania Bloodlines, and Super Metroid. Source:
  15. Hello there! I had this project on hold for a year and a half, so I thought it was about time to finish it and finally release it, enjoy!

  18. Hey guys! I just recently finished up this little solo piano arrangement of Song of Healing from Majora's Mask and thought I would share it with you all. I realize this is an insanely popular piece for people to remix/cover, but it's such a special piece, but I think the tune is so malleable and it was fun to try and do something different with it. I originally had made something far more virtuosic and flashy but it didn't fit the intimate feel of the original. I instead opted for something more subdued and "pretty". I added a little intro and outro based on some of the original harmonic material and I think it works as a nice framing device for the piece. At first I keep the tune fairly traditional, but ended up gradually adding some of my own personal flourishes throughout. Hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3NexJ5G1dg

  21. Hey there boys and girls! This is the first time I've posted on this forum in...years. I'm currently participating in a weekly music challenge, and this passed weeks theme was the perfect excuse to do a remix (as the challenge was changing the feel/mood of the first Tomb Raider's theme track). I decided to do some craziness and keep some of the orchestration from the original, expanding on it, and then flipping it completely upside-down. Honestly I haven't had this much fun composing a remix in years, so this was quite refreshing for me. The track (as tagged in the title) is completed as far as I'm concerned. I still welcome feedback as I'm currently progressing my mixing/mastering skills. Point though is that I'd like to make this my first ever track to be submitted and (hopefully) accepted on to the website. Source Track https://soundcloud.com/sh0rtcircuit-1/strong-willed-tomb-raider-remix The Remix Above all of though, I hope that you'll enjoy what I've put together here. Cheers! Update: I decided to re-mix/master the track, hopefully for the better.
