  1. Hi Here is my version of Collision Chaos Good Future JP/EU version of Sonic CD. I hope you will enjoy Original version :
  2. Hey OC Remix folks! We are DrKrake vs Jellyfish. We've been remixing video game music for quite a while (since 2009), but never really felt the itch to submit anything to OC Remix. Instead, we had a short-lived run on Newgrounds and mostly only uploaded our tracks on YouTube on random occasions. For this Christmas, we decided to release all of our stuff in a big free package and did so in the Super Musical Entertainment System! It's a massive collection of 33 tracks spanning various electronic music genres - trance, goa, house, hardstyle, and everything inbetween. You can grab it (for free, of course) on Bandcamp: drkrakevsjellyfish.bandcamp.com Most (but not quite all) tracks are VGM remixes. As a little special for the OC Remix forum, I'd like to list all tracks with their original sources: 147 (Intro) - not a remix, but uses samples from F-Zero X (N64) and Nagano Winter Olympics '98 (N64) Welcome to Marihuana Kart - trancy remix of the Mario/Luigi/Royal Raceway themes from Mario Kart 64 (N64) Voll Auf Stern - short remix of the infamous Starman tune from many many Mario games Fuckin' Party - hardstyle-ish remix based on the Cameroon theme in Super Soccer (SNES) Snowland - trance-ish remix of the Frappe Snowland theme from Mario Kart 64 (N64) Finish Line - trancy remix of the Mario Circuit theme from Super Mario Kart (SNES) Super Club Bros - housy remix of the infamous main theme of Super Mario Bros (NES) Ein Erfolg - short remix of the Level Clear theme from Super Mario Bros (NES) Romanina - trancy remix based on the Romania theme in Super Soccer (SNES), uses Nina's voice sample from Tekken 3 (PSX) Stellungswechsel - short remix of the Change Court theme from Super Tennis (SNES) Tor für Deutschland - football goal theme based on the Ireland (nope, not Germany ) theme in Super Soccer (SNES) Clowns R Funneh - not a VGM remix, but a remix of the Clown College theme from The Simpsons Archives - psytrance-ish remix of the Archives theme from Goldeneye (N64) How High Can You Get? (Level 1) - psychedelic remix of the Level 1 theme from Donkey Kong (Arcade) A - remix of the A theme from Tetris (Gameboy) Halbzeit - short remix of the Half Time theme from Super Soccer (SNES) Viererkette - trancy remix of the Denmark theme from Super Formation Soccer 2 (SNES) Crackman - short remix of the intro theme from Pacman (Arcade) How High Can You Get? (Level 2) - psychedelic remix of the Level 2 theme from Donkey Kong (Arcade) Headin' For Las Vegas - not a VGM remix, original track using samples from the Beavis & Butthead movie Samstag Nacht - not a VGM remix, completely original house track Omnitopia - new beat remix of the Omnitopia theme from Secret Of Evermore (SNES) (no Square Enix samples are being used) Cruisn' Datteln - mostly original house track based on the House Special theme from Cruisn' USA (N64) How High Can You Get? (Level 3) - a... "remix" of the Level 3 theme (yeah, right) from Donkey Kong (Arcade) How High Can You Get? (Level 4) - psychedelic of the Level 4 theme from Donkey Kong (Arcade) Zum Mond - remix of the second moon level theme from Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins (Gameboy) Six Golden Coins - remix of the intro level theme from Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins (Gameboy) Yoshi! - remix of the scoreboard theme from Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Island (SNES) The Party Never Ends - remix of the Belgium theme from Super Soccer (SNES) Maverick - fast trancy remix of the theme from Dr. Wily's Castle in Mega Man 2 (Gameboy) Mouse Maze - short remix of the stage 1 theme from the Mouse Maze minigame in Fun 'N' Games (SNES) Sonic The Nitzhog - nitzho-goa-ish remix of the bonus stage theme in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis) Endgegner - hardstyle-ish remix of the Bowser battle theme from Super Mario 64 (N64) We hope you enjoy this album and would be happy about any feedback! A very Merry Christmas!
  3. My (vaguely) christmas themed piano arrangement of Stardew Valley's Nocturne of Ice and Winter Festival music.
  4. Hi so this is my first post here, I had wanted to submit to here for years but was way too intimidated before. Not entirely sure how to open this up really bug I do have a track that I'd love some feedback on that I was considering submitting - hopefully I didn't mess up anything in this since it's been ages since I've used a proper forum. So in the hype for the newest pokemon games this was made for a remix compilation that considering I haven't heard anything back from the person organizing it in like 2 months now, I'm pretty sure has fallen through - that being said, I really enjoy how it turned out and figured it would be good to try and take it elsewhere. I had been on a big eurobeat kick lately and considering I don't have Sun yet I revisited Black again and found I really liked the emotion piano thing and ended up wanting to turn it into a dance track. The final result ended up being a 6 minute long piece that starts out quiet and orchestral before building into something I'm guessing falls close to Happy Hardcore. Generally I'd say I'm way more confident with electronic textures than live instrument stuff so hopefully the production doesn't feel too lopsided in that regard. It's done in that I was satisfied when I originally submitted it for the compilation, but if anyone has any suggestions on it I'm fine taking them https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31297091/Music Stuff/finalized shared/Pokemon Black and White - Unwavering Emotions [Unfaltering Truth Mix] - 320.mp3 https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31297091/Music Stuff/finalized shared/Pokemon Black and White - Unwavering Emotions [Unfaltering Truth Mix] - 192 kbps.mp3 Also I'm not exactly the best with naming things, if anyone has any ideas I'm more than open to them.
  5. It's not quite a new remix, but I did do a lot of extra work re-recording everything. https://jdharding.bandcamp.com/track/s-k-lava-reef-zone
  6. I remixed Demon Seed using an MPC and some synths. I added in some nice 808s with a drum pattern for the main loop that sounds like its straight out of 92. I laid down some nice story telling over this one. I made it just in time for Halloween. Sorry I didn't around to posting it till Mid November! I think you'll get a laugh and have a good time with this one.
  7. I wasn't sure if I should post this here since it's not a remix, but it did take a lot of work to cover. This is my largest song I've ever produced in size and magnitude. Each instrument was recorded in full length on it's own track. Usually I do some copy/paste magic, but I couldn't do it here since the notes change often. The source file is 5GB in size. 12. Here's an HD remake of "Hazy Maze Cave". People seem to like it. It's not a "remix", but it could be used in one if you guys want it.
  13. So, I'm not looking for feedback on this. I'm showing off an idea I had. This is mearly a proof of concept for a remix between the Boss Boogie theme and the Pursuit theme from DKC3. Boss/Pursuit POC I wanted to share, because they work quite well together. What do you think? Original tracks:
  14. I'm aware of the beat being to loud in this one, so I'll share an updated version after the video: Updated version: "The Train to Greedville" - BlueJackG Contains those tracks:
  15. Here's my little cover of this song. https://jdharding.bandcamp.com/track/mechwarrior-2-pyre-light
  16. here is a epic one by saki kaskas this runs on Mass Effect 2 Afterlife and Need For Speed !! i'm so flashed when i heard this.. now i maked a remix of it hope you like it
  17. I haven't done any remixes in about 6 months time, so here's something that's been sitting on my drive for a couple years. I finally sat down and really worked on this yesterday. https://jdharding.bandcamp.com/track/sth-3-credits-theme
  18. A little orchestral electronic cover I did of this theme. https://jdharding.bandcamp.com/track/killer-instinct-theme
  19. https://soundcloud.com/tesonael/pg-en-route27 Just something I've been working on for a bit. It originally started as a light orchestration before turning into a violin and trumpet duet. It leans on the conservative side, with the goal of staying close and true to the source while developing a personality of it's own. To that end, I decided to keep it relatively short and to the point.
  20. I've been gone for a while and super busy at work, but now I'm on vacation. So I got to thinking, what better place to vacation than Costa de Sol? One thing led to another, and... https://soundcloud.com/tesonael/costa-de-sol-acoustic-cover This is really my first time mixing recordings in with samples. I'd dabbled in it a bit(in a cover of Dimensional Breach), but I barely used anything there. I'm happy with the results so far, but there are a lot of improvements to be made, especially with the song's progression. As far as the soundscape and instrumentation goes, I think it's entering "Bossa nova" territory.
  21. The original MIDI file I wrote for this OverClocked ReMix was deleted a long time ago. I recently tried to re-write the MIDI using a Yamaha MU100R XG MIDI synthesizer module. I think it turned out okay, but it's not the same as the original OC ReMix recorded on a Yamaha SW1000XG MIDI synthesizer card. I cannot fully re-create the same feel as the original remix. https://jdharding.bandcamp.com/track/super-metroid-brinstar-green-vegetation-yamaha-xg-remix
