3. completed Karate Kid - Typhoon Strikes (Synthwave)
psycosulu posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Made this for a contest where the theme was Movie Games. The original game was on the NES and I've had the song stuck in my head for forever. I hope you like it. -
My remake of my favorite track from Majora's Mask: Astral Observatory. I added a few extra themes from the game as well: Clocktown, Fairy Fountain/Select Screen, Song of Time, Tatl and Tael, and Calling the Giants. This theme always stuck out to me in the game. It always felt magical walking into this area. I hope that I could recreate some of that feeling, and that you enjoy the remake! Let me know what you think, and where I can improve. -Juke

Hello everyone. First time! I took some creative liberties with this one but I hope you enjoy.

This is an arrangement of "The Day After" i did for the Final Fantasy VI Tribute Album "World's Requiem" by the Pixel Mixers community! For this album we (71 musicians) covered the complete soundtrack from the original soundtrack composed by Nobuo Uematsu. For this track i had the chance to have the help of the fabulous Mark Autumn and his perfect acoustic guitar playing and tone! => Mark Autumn's Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ShiningM... For the arrangement i started with having a Fusion-ish arrangement in mind (was listening to a lot of Snarky Puppy) but it ended up being a bit different. You still can here i took some ideas from their song "Beep Box".

What's up guys, I'm here again to post my latest rework (this time without making 1000 edits to the OP) It's a track from the Unreal Tournament 99 soundtrack, reworked in a freeform/drum&Bass/IDM style and sped up a bit (155 BPM instead of the original 116) So long story short, here's my remix, hope you'll enjoy it! (and here's the original for comparison)

My remix and remake of 'Lurelin Village', from the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. While this game didn't have as many memorable music pieces as other Zelda games, it definitely had a few that stuck out to me, and this is one of them. The second time around, I added in some themes from Kokiri Forest, as well as Zelda and Aryll. Hope you can relax and enjoy! Ambience from CosyClothes: www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7J_pYhCK04 -Juke

Guitars : Shreddage 2 Drums : Shreddage Drums Bass : Shreddage Bass 2 Horns : Session Horns Pro Amp : Guitar Rig 5 About Section So a little about this track in particular. My first ever interaction with megaman was the MMX collection for the Gamecube. In that version the tracks were the arranged ones. I instantly enjoyed the music and still go back and listen to it to this day. So it wasn't later that I discovered the SNES version of the OST and again I loved it. So with this remix I wanted to capture that Saxophone and Brass parts of the arranged along with the rock rhythm guitars to combine them into something I thought that it should sound like.

Finished up a 2nd video using footage from our recording session from late April. This time we play Shoji Meguro's "Beneath the Mask" from Persona 5, which is both a favorite of ours to play as well as a crowd favorite from our shows. Over the last year I've digested more of Meguro's catalog than any other video game composer--I'm excited to have completed this particular work and released it for your enjoyment. Also, similar to my "Corridors of Time" arrangement, I snuck in a quote from another one of this game's tracks, as well--let me know if you catch it!

3. completed Kingdom Hearts: Welcome to Wonderland [Remix]
Juke posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
My remix and remake of 'Welcome to Wonderland', from Kingdom Hearts. I used some parts of the piano piece as a baseline, and added from there. Also added in just a little bit of the Traverse Town theme; I thought it mixed in well. -Juke -

Hey, everyone! Late last year I posted some live clips from my VGM/jazz group, The Hard Modes. Since then I've written a bunch of new arrangements for the group that we've been playing locally, and about a month ago we recorded some of our repertoire. I wanted to share the first of the bunch with you--the beloved "Corridors of Time" from Chrono Trigger, written by Yasunori Mitsuda: I never really intended to arrange this tune, especially because it seems like a lot of people cover it (and cover it well!). But, I kept hearing it while I was at MAGFest this year and was infected by the groove so much that I felt like I had to give making something unique a shot. The resulting arrangement is pretty straight forward with the exception of some harmonic variation and the incorporation of 3 additional Chrono Trigger melodies therein. Hope you enjoy, and would love to hear your feedback. Thanks for listening!

I decided to try a cover of this track to experiment transcribing and arranging source material slightly apart from what I'm usually comfortable with - this is mainly drawn from Masafumi Takada's Tokio Morishima theme from The Silver Case, with a passage from Erika Ito's DRIFT - Tokio's theme from the sequel, The 25th Ward. Any criticism would be incredibly helpful, but I'm particularly looking for feedback on especially problematic mixing and mastering issues - while I'm likely not returning to this particular piece, it'd be very useful to be more aware of the traps I'm falling into at the moment while working on future ideas.
