  1. Hello everyone! I'm Eidenlux, and this is my first post - so I deeply apologize for any mistake I could incur into. I'm gonna share with you a tune I've submitted yesterday. Being my first submission to the OCRemix community, I just realized it could've been a better idea to post it here first, so I could have some outside feedback before bring it directly to the jury. I'm not sure whenever this style is widespread, hence the question mark in the title. Basically, it's a blend of Symphonic metal, Cyber metal and Synthwave - Replacing the vocals with lead, "retro"-style synths. So, for that manner, I'm gonna give some background info about this track. I apologize if it's too long, that's why I'm gonna post the story part in spoilers, so you can skip it if you're not interested in the details (although they could be useful to understand the context of the production and arrangements): So, after many years, I thought: "I love this track. I have now mastered the production style I want. Now it's the time to make my own version". For that manner, I tried to leave some reminiscences of the original CPS instruments, like that synth used in the middle part of the original track, using my own synthesis (ironically based on those classic sounds). I would love to read any kind of opinion on any aspect of the tune, both musical and/or production-wise. As for my part, I'm comfortable with the overall production, which is basically what I had in mind. I didn't deviate too much from the original source track, except for a few details, new instruments like distorted guitars, stronger drum presence and the addition of my personal middle part in the second round of the track. Perhaps I like this tune too much to change it to the extreme hahaha But I'm quite satisfied with the final results; otherwise, I don't think I would have had the guts to submit it in the first place Anyway, here I'll leave the link on Bandcamp, it should have an acceptable, good streaming quality: https://eidenlux.bandcamp.com/track/royal-flush-bgp-groove Thank you a lot for this space and your time. We'll be reading each other
  2. So it looks like Capcom is jumping on the recent Plug N Play bandwagon for their arcade stuff... http://www.capcomhomearcade.com/home
  3. Sup everybody, I wanted to share a remix I did based off of MvC. I’m not submitting this or anything. I just thought maybe somebody else out there enjoyed the Capcom style of the 90s. Thanks for listening. Peace My Remix/Cover: Original:
  4. An original VGM album composed, mixed and mastered by PatricxMusic. Makes a great gift for that music and video game fan in your life. Check it out! This is our version of crossover fighting game music PATRICXMUSIC VOL. 1
  5. Hello everyone, I'm curious if anyone knows what has happened to the Mega Man 25th anniversary album called MM25: Mega Man Rocks that I believe launched alongside MM25: For Everlasting Peace. I was trying to recommend it to a friend. I bought it off of iTunes back when it released in 2013, and for some reason I can no longer find it on iTunes or any other music service. I have found heaps of press releases alluding to the two albums, but none of them that have links, including the publisher's website have any further information. For example: here's a press release published on the Capcom website for both albums with links. All of the links for Everlasting Peace still work, but the Mega Man Rocks links are all duds. I've found a few other streaming or digital stores that have tracklists, but you can't even listen to previews. This might be the only reference I've found on Youtube, under Capcom's account. It was published by Sumthing Else Records and has artists such as Mega Ran, Armcannon, The Protomen, and The Megas. So has it truly vanished? Was there some kind of legal swamp it fell in to and had to be pulled? Anyone know what happened?
  6. Hey, all, nice to meet you! First submission on OC Remix, sweetness! We just released a Mighty No. 9 remix on SoundCloud that we wanted to share with you all. I know some of you may feel some sort of way about that particular name, but as with most Mega Man-inspired things, the music was definitely worth remixing! This is based on the main theme song of the game, composed by Manami Matsumae. Hope you dig it! - ichordic
  7. What's up everybody. It's been a while. I've never done a drum and bass style before and thought this would be a dope way to start learning it. I remade the ending credits theme from the original Marvel vs Capcom. Not a remix but not a cover either so I called it reborn. I'm also not submitting this here. Let me know any opinions, critiques, etc. Peace Original My version
  8. So, I realize I haven't been on here in QUITE some time. However, I feel that I've honestly grown as a remixer/composer since the last time I've been here. Now would I say my work is submission worthy? Ehhh, not yet, but I'm on my way. This right here is my proudest remix yet. I mixed Ryu's Kobu and original themes together for a Marvel Vs. Capcom Overhaul series I'm doing. I have a Jedah one up, too but I'll put that up later. I'd def like some feedback and want to know what you guys think about it and I hope you all enjoy it!
  9. Hello Everyone! I've been remixing video game songs for a few months now and I'm finally posting them here. This is my latest remix, Ken's Theme from Street Fighter II. It's complete, but before I submit it, I need to finalize the name. Currently, I'm referring to it as "Street Fighter II Ken's Theme Hard Rock Remix," but if anyone could suggest a better name, that'd be great. Let me know what you think of this one. I have a few other completed songs that I'll post soon as well. Dallas

  11. I desperately need more "Resident Evil" remixes... or an official OCR Album -- a man can only dream But for now, I want to see how far I can go with this piece of my own. Inspired by Tony MacAlpine's "Tears of Sahara", I'd like to see if I can come up with a sweet rock ballad version of "Sleeping Beauty", which I fell in love with. Original: Remix: I need to reach some friends of mine in order to help me record the final version. In the meantime, feedback is very welcome
  12. Thought I'd put together another original Mega Man song for once in a long time, hope you all like it! Please like, follow and all that fun stuff and I'll love you forever Also you can find my Bandcamp here with more music goodies: https://blaz1222.bandcamp.com/
  13. I was planning on making this into some long 14 minute back and forth battle between Capcom fighters and marvel caracters. I got pretty exhausted and wanted to move on, I left it alone and finished it recently. So that's how it became just marvel characters. Take You For A Ride
  14. Just found this site, it's nice to see somewhere dedicated to this kind of thing. Here is my remix of Ryu's SFII Theme, I'm looking for feedback. Thanks People
  15. I would like to request a remix of Felicia's Theme from Darkstalkers/Vampire Savior & the remix should be in the style of Duke Ellington-style jazz (jazz is the genre for this remix). Felicia the Catwoman is one of my favorite Capcom Fighting Characters (Others being Skullomania, Dhalsim, Amingo, Yun, Sodom, & Firebrand) and I want her theme song to be remixed by you guys at OC Remix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_m-B1RxQDqY

  17. Hi there, folks! I made a post a couple of weeks ago about me posting about "Song Suites" and mentioned in particular that i had my mind set on doing a short "Rival Schools: United By Fate" song suite. The funny thing about when i first posted this song on my personal Facebook account for friends to listen too before it went public, The Director of Rival Schools had a interview published where he expressed interest in making Rival Schools 3! RIVAL SCHOOLS 3?!? Make it happen, Capcom. #RivalSchools3 While this is still a work in progress (No drums right now, weird feedback from Piano that has to get cut down somehow, ideas about a potential solo guitar to go along with what's played on piano in the first part to make it more authentic to the original, Etc.)-- I still feel like this is a solid rendition of "On The Rooftops Of Taiyo High" and "Reconciliation" from Project Justice. Any form of input is valuable to me, as i am using these OST song covers to improve myself as a musician that can play multiple instruments along with mixing/production stuff. While i did not -exactly- have Rival Schools in my PS1 collection as a kid (Tekken 3 was there instead ), The Marvel Vs. Capcom Air Combos/Mechanics/OST all captured my heart as soon as i first started playing and i was convinced that this game was a underrated classic...Which it is. Enjoy!
  18. I kinda realize what Capcom wanted to go for in Juri's SFV theme. And I actually somewhat like it. BUT, to be honest, we all know it doesn't fit her. So, here's my take on it.
  19. Hi folks hope you enjoy - all done in Renoise https://soundcloud.com/garth_knight/wolverine-theme-arcade-power-mix-garth-knight
  20. So, I made a remix of Storm Owl's theme from Megaman X4. I must admit tho I didn't stray too far away from the original theme's arrangement. Title: Perch and Destroy Genre: House BPM: 135
  21. Yes, yes. I know. We're supposed to be getting Alex for this month. And I'm waiting for that heavily. But if it's an Alex concept you're looking for, Check out MaxieDaMan's concept here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KtVq...If any of you played 3rd Strike, you know that was the game to come home from school and start playing. While New Generation and 2nd Impact were good, the hugest mark left on us was by 3rd Strike. And with Urien and Alex joining the roster along with some returning cast, you know it's gonna be lit. 3rd Strike had some of the greatest music (Aside from the online remixes. Some of which were good and I enjoyed. You'll hear a bit of that here.).I'm gonna try and make a new theme every week. But I have a surprise in September for you guys. Keep watch.
  22. GROAN ver.T7 GROAN ver.T7 [SOUNDCLOUD] Remix made for Gouki's/Akuma's appearance in Tekken 7:FR. Hope it's enjoyable m'friends.
