Many of you don't know me but lately I've been working on my first ep called "Static" there's no message in it except for the blatant pictures such as distortion and tv static but that's about it. What you will be mostly hearing is detune and slight white noise sounds and the kicks in song are like syrup so it also sounds good the ear. So let me know what you guys think, I only have four songs to make out of ten and I'm mostly made these songs from scratch and a little sampling, so yes my head hurts when coming up with crazy ideas in these songs. Here's The Playlist: https://soundcloud.com/flangerous/sets/ep-static

My Quest To grind until my body is level 99. What does level 99 look like? This. That's right! I'm going for the Fabio body! Don't try to stop me! Anyway, I'm working on my own workout. I'd rather do an hour of aerobics than 30 minutes of running. Whenever my mix CD gets to Torn Apart by Xaleph, I'm a completely different person. I can boxercise the hell out of anyone for any amount of time to that song. And I'm FAT! 3 Things I Want In Exercise Music 1. A tempo good for stepping to. Torn Apart (http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01630) and Triforce Majeure (http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01184) are about the right tempo. 2. Aggression. Torn Apart sounds kinda brutal. Most Xaleph remixes do and that puts me in such a mood. I really liked his FF7 remixes as well. 3. A constant techno beat. What I mean is how there's a bass drum hit on every beat. Not a requirement but it helps. Anyone have any suggestions workout music within OCR or without? Thanks!

So this was something I decided to make ever since I first heard the theme made by the great Grant Kirkhope, the composer of the Banjo-Kazooie series and Donkey Kong 64. So far, this piece has had over 1000 views on my music channel on YouTube which is saying a lot for my small channel of 35 subscribers. Please, give me any feedback you might have. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz-NXKAcEQw

Deflektor 'Laser Dance' Mr. Dodgers exposes us to a very happy blippy but cool mix from the game Deflektor. Ok panning here, quite a large amount of bass, and a good choice of instruments. Quite a few changes here too, although I probably would have preferred a few others to mix the song up a little more. It's a good listen, it's got fairly good mixing and the overall sound quality is pretty good. Synth orientated. I can't really think of anything else to say. Good work Chuck!

Super Mario World 'The Dark Reaches of SMW' Must say, I absolutely loved this song ever since the first time I heard it. What I used to think was only a remix of the Ghost House's theme from Super Mario World, turns out to actually be a remix of Bowser's Castle (among other themes that I really can't name offhand). Great use of different instruments going on, and several wonderful uses of in-game samples make this a definitely CD worthy song in my personal opinion.
