  1. https://youtu.be/gMty2oMZ5pg One of my recent favorite tunes from DKC 2 composed by David Wise. I had a lot of fun making this absolute chill banger and I hope it shows.
  2. Note: Updates to this track will be added to the bottom of this first post. Quick note to board mods: I will modify this post as needed to conform to board guidelines, please inform me if changes are needed. First attempt at a remix! I hope to eventually complete one and submit it to the site which I love so much. I had a bit of inspiration to do a rock n roll remix of Chrono Trigger's "Corridors of Time" after hearing this remix. I like the rock n roll sound at around the 25 second mark, and wanted to explore it further. So in a way, this is a remix of a remix. https://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01836 Original track: See below for my remixes and revisions I am currently using MuseScore for score editing and sound, so it will sound a bit canned for now. I am hoping to use Cubase later with better samples and/or live instruments in future revisions. I would love to have feedback and/or suggestions on ways to make this better. If you are interested in collaboration, I am open to that as well. Thanks for your time! 3. Right, so I've been working on this remix of Duster's theme, Mind of a Thief from Mother 3. Its still pretty early on in development, I guess, but I wanted to get some feedback on how the audio quality is. After listening to it so much myself, I need other people to let me know how it really sounds. I still need practice with adjusting EQ's appropriately and all that mastering stuff. And I wonder if some of the instruments (the bass and strings) sound too fake, since all of them are synthesized or sampled. Aside from that, any other guidance would be very much appreciated, particularly in regard humanization; the drums especially. The're supposed to sound a little chippy, but I'd like to know if other people think it works. Obviously, without live instruments, its harder to get things to sound natural and energetic. Anyway, the download link is here: http://tindeck.com/listen/diuok Thanks for your constructive criticism!
  4. Title is still a work in progress I was going back through some really old tracks I had start and came across this little gem. This track is over two years old and finally got a proper work over now that I have better plugins. I also got the chord structure from a very famous piece of classical music can you guess it?
  5. Life is not meant to be lived in a cage like a slave. You must fly free and see the what this wonderful world has to offer.
  6. Going back to my original roots and trying my hand at house music again. This time i thought should give some love to one of the must overlooked Sonic games of all time, Sonic CD! So who is the real hedgehog here?
  7. Samus Aran: the prolific bad-ass from the Metroid series and my personal favorite Nintendo character. I recently started replaying the older Metriod games and forgot how awesome this theme and level was. Watch out Ridley and Kraid there is a new bad-ass on this planet now. This very much a work in progress!! I am still not happy with the transition from Brinstar Depths back in to the regular Brinstar theme I am also still looking for a better space lead for the main theme and a way to work in the main theme during the dubstep parts. I am also considering adding the Super Metriod prologue intro to the beginning and possibly the during the transition from Brinstar Depths into the regular Brinstar theme. Anyway, I appropriate any feedback.
  8. All the spiders gather around and clap along to the beat. You try to struggle and escape...but nothing happens Muffet approaches you... " Would you like something to drink? We have water, milk, juice, spiders, Dr. Pepper...?" "Spiders?" "Spiders it is, then!" "No! That's not what---" But she was already pouring a brimming cup of spiders
  9. O Yes my Darlings! Fret no longer for I, Mettaton, am finally here for all my glorious fans! This kind of a work in progress but I would like some back before I continue working on it. Thanks!
  10. So, I'm back with my current Project. This Time i recording some individual stuff and i was trying, to bring my ideas in this Remix (then that was the Feedback from the Users on my last Project). Here is the Beta Version of this Remix: If you have some Ideas, critique, Impressions or whatever, so i would be glad if you write me your thoughts in a Post in this Thread ;). 11. I am working on an undertale remix album and this was the first song i decided to do. This is also my first attempt at DNB so I would like to know how I did. Thanks!
  12. Hello OC Remix Forums! I have long been a listener of the remixed on OC Remix (since 2000, I believe). I'm looking for feedback so that I can continue to improve my song-writing and remixing abilities. It appears that classical music is one of my strengths. The following is the original song from the Amiga version of Populous written by Rob Hubbard: I grew up playing the Genesis version but the SNES version's music also played an influence. The following is an mp3 file of the remix thus far: http://www.tonalbliss.com/music/displays/goodnevil8.mp3 I feel that I am mostly completed with the first 2:25 minutes but I'd like the song to go until 3:30. Any comments on the direction of this remix? Any critical comments? Thanks.
  13. Hi, OC ReMix! This year, Lara Croft celebrates her 20th Birthday and, since the franchise only has one remix on OCR (the great 'Adventure Is in the Air' by EmptyMy), I thought it could be nice to offer the lady a second one just for the occasion. I actually started a piano arrangement of Peter Connelly's 'Theme' (from 'Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation') and was wondering if you guys could give me feedbacks so I can try to make it OCR worthy (if it is possible to ^^'). Bare in mind that the song was not humanized yet -- I'd like to have the whole composition right before I eventually start recording a real-life piano play. Original Version: Remix: I wouldn't mind collaborate with any of you if you think this WIP could actually fit another genre better -- like a rock ballad or somehting -- and would like to help with the transposition Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to you all!
  14. Hi guys, I'm working on an original piece at the moment. It's a sad, solo piano track, only 1 minute or so in length, and it has to work as a seamless loop. I'm not at all confident in my own abilities, so what I want to know is- what do you think, and what can I do to make it better? I use Logic Pro 9, and this was created with the Ivy Piano in 162 soundfont. I wish I could get a live player to perform it, but alas, I lack both a piano, and the ability to play one. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/np1ahu61yc034f4/AABQn7x16LRh6_aIrtsVl2vSa?dl=0
