  1. Super Mario Bros. 'Frivolous Funk' It's always cool to hear live versions of game music! This is pretty funky, except it lacks a good bass instrument. It's there but it really doesn't stand out much. Other than that it is a great listen! The Mario theme is probably more recognizable than our national anthem!
  2. Super Mario World 'Super Mario's Sleigh Ride' Sorry about not getting to the late Christmas Eve mixes earlier I've been with my family and playing with all of my new stuff. Now, to the ReMix - What can I say? It's just some REALLY well done live video game music action It's really fun to listen to to. The OneUp Mushrooms cover several Super Mario World tunes here. It's a must download Super highly recommended. I respect these guys a whole lot. I've always dreamed of playing live video game music with some buds, and these guys fulfilled my dream, but for themselves. It's all worth it, though!
  3. Hello everybody, I can't believe how fast time has gone by since my initial post last year. I haven't completed my Volley Fire remix yet, but I haven't been sitting still either. I would like to share with you - for your enjoyment and perhaps feedback - a new piano piece I wrote and recorded on my digital piano. I name it Step by Step - it is a kind of exploration of different intervals and bass-styles. I'm a sucker for these emotional pieces and I'm particularly proud of this one. What do you think? Thanks for listening! Link to Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/user-227517766/step-by-step
  4. Chrono Trigger 'The Trial in Concert' I am honored to start off the review thread for this remix. Simply put, it is AMAZING. The only disadvantage to it showing up on Overclocked is that it's been around on other sites for a while, and the bitrate had to drop in order to get it under the filesize limit here. But if you download one CT remix from this entire site, let this one be it!
  5. Chrono Trigger 'Time Punk' Very nice remix from jaxx. The only thing holding this back is its length - at 1 minute exactly, I would have liked to hear a lot more. But overall, a welcome addition to the plethora of Zeal mixes.
