  1. Hey there Beauty-butts! Any kind of feedback about the track will be appreciated. UPDATE #01: New mix: https://soundcloud.com/atp19xx/watch-your-step-wip UPDATE #02: Another mix! This time, a little bit more color and other stuff in this track. I left the earlier mix there as well for comparison. There's quite a bit of new flavor added, eq'ing and a bit of limiting and I think next phase would be finishing up the track and fine tune some patterns before final touches. At this point I think it would be cool to have those decent monitors to find all the quirks, pops and zaps. Those that I don't have. So, a humble request (and be sure to hammer it down, I'm not soft skinned): ANY. Kind of feedback is more than appreciated. If you have equipment to point out some details, do that. If you have anything to say about this track, do that. "This track is bs!" is not very contributing feedback, though, even if it is feedback of some sort. *grin* UPDATE #03: IT'S FINISHED! Here is the final production of his track. Quality is "only" a mere 192kbps, but I might or might not add a download link for studio quality PCM WAV later. In the mix I decided to eq as much as possible so all I had to do in mastering was basically balancing lows, mids and highs. My oh-so-professional ear might have been playing tricks on me during the production, so it might not be the perfect. To be honest, I might have been using more time in eq and compressor windows than in the mix. Also, this is my first *finished* track in very long time. All I have here in Soundcloud, are only mix-state productions, but I wanted to bring at least one finished track here as well. As a source, I used both original NES track and also Wily Wars version (links below). My arrangement sounds more like original, apart from few different renditions of notation. I mixed both original and modified notation in the end, but first half is dominated by those little changes. 2. Hi people! I've crafted a synthrock tune heavily inspired on the Megaman X-ost, and I'd love to hear whether or not you'd say that it has (more or less) captured the original feeling, and of course what your thoughts are on the arrangement, composition, mixing, maybe even the accompanying video and its pacing etc. Honestly love to get some feedback (and provide you with it if you'd like)! Thanks, The Lost OST
  3. Hello there my name is zerolegends, i'm currently working on the fangame Megaman(rockman) ZX genesis, i'm in need of a main theme for the game I have the Midi file to this if that will help make the process smoother and quicker, since this is a FanGame i really cant pay you(we'd get shut down) except adding your name to the credits, this is just a fun project that we're doing. for more details give me a PM thank you!
  4. edited... the new idea is to take a song from any numbered megaman game and alter the time signature so the new time has a number from the game of origin e.g. Songs from megaman 4 can be in 5/4, 3/4, etc., songs from 7 can be 7/8 or what have you, 6 can be in 6/6, 6/4, and so on. originally the idea was for "megaman 3/4" which involved only megaman 3 and 4 songs and put them all in 3/4. But not enough expressed interest and a lot of megaman 4 songs I don't feel work well in 3/4 (specifically wily castle 1, which I think could sound great in 5/4).
  5. Hello OCR, another cover is finished. This one is very short, but was very challenging to make. Last two covers where (mostly) done with midi. I was advised to use more physical instruments and let go of the original form. Though the form is still original, I did give it a twist. As always, I wont be working on this one anymore than I already did. Feedback is welcome, any ideas or direction you think I should go or try out is welcome too. Above all, Enjoy!
  6. Hey guys, here is a remix that I arranged for the SFRG Competition. It is pretty much finished, just want to get some feedback before I submit to ocremix. 7. This is the theme from Mega Man 3, Wily 3 (&4) done with synths, loops and Celtic harp. First submission to OC, thanks for any input! Thanks! https://soundcloud.com/crystacular/wily-persons
  8. I made this messing around in Photoshop. I thought it was silly and wanted to share it. I had problems get it to look good in post window, so sorry for the Imgur link. Benzene Man
  9. Greetings! I would like to submit my Metroid Title Theme remix and my MegaMan III Title Theme remix. What do you all think of them? Which one has a chance!?! Metroid! MegaMan! Trev
  10. Hey, this is my first remix that's anywhere close to completion so I figured I should post it in the Workshop and see what people think. Basically, I was doodling around in SONAR one day and realized I could very easily turn it into the Bonnes' theme from Megaman Legends, and it eventually turned into this. Any advice is welcome. Source: ReMix: http://tindeck.com/listen/mwlwx And if there are any errors/missing information with how or where I posted this, please let me know. edit (7/8/2015): Updated the link with a newer version.
  11. Hello, Here is a remix that I made of the track Dr Willy Stage 1 of Megaman 2 https://soundcloud.com/hleet-tahiti/dr-wily-stage-1-megaman2
  12. OMG IT'S MEGA MAN!!!! I was making a final project for my Graphic Design class; so of course, I looked for my old Surface Pro 3 doodle of "Mega Man" I did at the Atlanta Mall. After redrawing the images and getting the base colors onto it, I started shading the image and applying some shines onto his armor and gave a bit of a mix-color onto the rifling of his Mega Buster, as well as the inside of his ear-hole-things. I added a slight lighting texture afterwards, and used an old gear texture I had made a few months back. I put a translucent blue gradient in front of it, and concluded with my signature and the "Mega Man" logo. So guys, how did I do, for a 17-year old with a Windows XP tablet? Thanks for reading... ~W. Yates
  13. Wow....so much has changed since I was last on here OwO; Anyways, if you're familiar with Mega Man 4, then you know it's soundtrack is really underratred, almost like "Mega Man 5". Among the other popular tracks, like Pharoah Man, Dive Man, Skull Man, and the Cossack Stages, Ring Man's has always been one of my personal faves. As for genre, I was thinking maybe try some funk jazz with this track, see what can be done. Seriously, if "brentalfloss" was able to do this with Crash Man's Stage from Mega Man 2 (https://brentalfloss.bandcamp.com/track/crash-man-funk-remix), then I firmly believe you guys can pull this off.
