I started working on this remix a few months ago, been on ice since then until this weekend. Damn it was a long time ago I could finish a song in just 2 days. So what do you think? Would it be something for the OCR community? Everyone loves the Zelda melodies, right? <3 //Glejs

So a friend of mine challenged me to remix this theme in the Goa / Psy Trance style. Well, I like a challenge. So, here is my first attempt at Goa Trance. Looking for feedback on the style, sound, eqing, everything. I'm new to this genre (and this site), so let me have it. Thanks! Forgot to add that... UPDATE: Link updated. See post for more info. UPDATE 2: Did a lot of fleshing out and some EQing. UPDATE 3: Added some more goodies and did a final master. I feel it's ready for submission. UPDATE 4: Did a complete redo of the mixing. I had to change some instruments to make things blend well. UPDATE 5: Fixed some stuff (the bassline most noticeably)and did another mastering attempt. I think it's ready to submit. FINAL UPDATE: Alright, so I did a final master and sent it off to be judged. Hi, I'm really inspired by the many talented individuals of this community. I'm going to start sharing my work. Just drawings I've done for fun, or maybe local contests...actually only one contest. This drawing was for a submissio to the Graphic novel contest for san jose public library in California. I used it for the cover, with some lettering for title. I used a pencil, just a yellow number 2, and then a few gray tone Copic markers to provide contour and tone. No color allowed. I think I used a Copic liner pen for the inking. A bit of white paint for highlights in eye. You can probably see my mistake, whereI misplaced/forgot to place my mole on correct side of face. Using my face was the easiestway to get a cover illustration done, because the interior pages were so time consuming, and it was a last minute project. I'm very much into procrastinating. Hi. I wanted to say that I will be scanning some more of my drawings and what not pretty soon. I just wanted you all to know that my ugly face isn't the only thing I have to show off. ...heh heh heh. I will get the short story I did for the 2012 SJPL graphic novel contest up on this post. I actually placed 3rd for that one, and that was literally done the night before. I worked on that thing until about 5 in the morning, then had to get to work the same morning at my crappy job at Safeway. Ugh. But, honestly, the endorphins or whatever that were released from the creative process kept me going all day! So, I think by Saturday January 30, I should have quite a few more pages up. This was just pencil on some sketch pad, maybe regular copy paper? Just something quick, for exercise. Yoshi Mushroom A First attempt at an OC style remix. Hard to find game, and even harder to find any reference (midi, wav, gameplay). My friend is going for a world record attempt on twitch, and this song got stuck in my head.

I'd like to submit my recording and arrangement of the final theme from The Adventures of Lolo. It's a kick-ass tune and I've arranged all of the original notes to be played live on the piano. So, in that regard it's extremely conservative. Performing all three voices live and accurately is, I think, innovative. I would like some feedback on the recording quality and mix. I used three mics - 2 Octava 012s in facing left and right inside the piano and a Rode NT5 just outside the piano facing the strings. There is some light compression and reverb. I've been working on a new EP with lots of chiptune elements that will be releasing in December. I thought I'd share a little sample of it. The EP will be a mix of chiptune elements, acoustic piano pieces, ambient electronic music and analog synths. Hope you guys like it! Any other Mega Man enthusiasts play this yet or make any levels? It's pretty awesome how you can mix and match assets from MM1-6 in all sorts of weird ways. Hopefully they keep adding new stuff to it.

Hello again, OCR. Finished off 2016 with a new progressivesque chiptune yesterday called Influx. It revolves around a single chord line, which forced me to be creative with progression and arrangement variations.
