  1. So I have completed a track I've been working on for quite a while now, called "Unalienable". It's sort of a philisophical pop song. I posted demos in the past, but now I'm calling it done. ============================================================ Listen here: https://dgrove.bandcamp.com/track/unalienable ============================================================ This is just one song of a larger concept album I'm working on on the subject of Natural Law (and I haven't a clue yet as to how I'm going to sell that!) If you like it, it's available for purchase for $1. Although, I'm *not* currently using a business account with PayPal, so I don't yet know how well my current account will hold up as far as receiving funds. So if you run into issues on your end, send me a message.
  2. Here's a new original comedy song about dating apps! Let us know what you think. https://youtu.be/30zBNZ2a5B4
  3. It's a fairly polished demo: I started working on this song a couple years ago, but never finished it because I wasn't totally satisfied with the overall "sound". However, I got a StudioLive 24 Series III mixer with Studio One a couple months ago, along with a brand new computer that can handle more processing and memory. I decided it was time to return to this one and see what I could do with it. I dumped all the tracks off my MOXF6, redid the mix entirely, added several new layers, and recorded some vocals. I feel it's really coming together. It's sort of a pop/r&b tune with some synthwave influence. There are a few more things to do yet such as add vocals to the end of the song. I am also not satisfied with the saxophone solo, nor background vocals on the chorus parts. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to fix those backing vocals just yet. I'd love to hear opinions: what I did well, what I didn't do so well, how I can improve it, etc.

  9. Hello OC Remix community, I've been itching to do an OC remix for a very, very long time (I think I was introduced to it around 2000). In the meantime, I thought I'd jump into the fray and share an original piece I did earlier this year. I'm a huge fan of film scores from the 80's, and composed a horror/sci-fi/thriller piece with flavors of Tangerine Dream and John Carpenter. Looking forward to my first remix, but until then, I hope you enjoy this pulsing, suspenseful, dark synth track. Best, Meg

  13. Wassup yall! Check out my original rendition of a Knuckles the Echidna stage called “Underwater Cavern” with lyrics! Wanted to keep this jazzy, inspired by his music from Sonic Adventure 2! So smooth and so Knuckles! Hope you guys like this one.
  14. Hello, I'm in dire need of a composer/musician, who wants to make music and sound effects for a project I will describe below. Since this is a hobby project I won't get any money for, neither will you, sorry! Okay, you're still reading, that's good Let me tell you about my project and the general style I have in mind for it's audio: The Box Theory Project's Deviantart Page The Box Theory is a semi autobiographic Webcomic series that sometimes features little shorts as episodes. It's about the life of a design student in a pixelart styled parallel world of our own. Music and Sounds are therefore heavily 8-bit driven and also contain elements of rock and metal. References: The Scott Pilgrim Movie The Band Machinae Supremacy The Band Anamanaguchi You're job then will be to make the music and/or sound effects for these animated shorts (2-4 minutes long). If you're interested please contact me via e-mail taijj(at)gmx.net! I will collect contact informations in a first round until Sunday the 31st of January! Then I'll take a look at your previous work, so it would be cool if you'd provide some means to check it out and then we'll talk about what exactly I'd like to have for my stuff! Thanks for reading! I hope to hear from you soon! Have it nice! ՞ ᗜ ՞ Regards, Taijj
  15. Hi guys, I'm working on an original piece at the moment. It's a sad, solo piano track, only 1 minute or so in length, and it has to work as a seamless loop. I'm not at all confident in my own abilities, so what I want to know is- what do you think, and what can I do to make it better? I use Logic Pro 9, and this was created with the Ivy Piano in 162 soundfont. I wish I could get a live player to perform it, but alas, I lack both a piano, and the ability to play one. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/np1ahu61yc034f4/AABQn7x16LRh6_aIrtsVl2vSa?dl=0
  16. Hi all, My name's Jeremy Johnson, and I've gone by cooliscool since 2000, and an amateur composer of many years. I've played the piano and drums since age seven (20 years), and have progressively composed pieces in that time. I've reached a peak in these later years, and I'm pretty pleased. Remixed a few game songs, which I was very proud of, but never submitted them. I've lurked since 2003, around the time Charles Blachly died. Basically, Alph Lyla single handedly turned me into a composer, with their sheer excellen (ce and immaculate ears. Anyway, my music can be found at SoundCloud. The top 2 I composed last night in a rush of motivation. In "Joy" the right channel clips at times due to a mistake in limiting. Give them time, they kick in at 2 min!. If you feel up to it, listen to them in their entirety, and post honest feedback & suggestions. Considering my style, I couldn't think of a more appropriate place to promote my original work, receive feedback on it, network & make new, likeminded friends, and improve. Without question, in the future I would love to collaborate on a project, even if in a minor way. Much love, Jeremy MY SOUNDCLOUD PROFILE
  17. Friendly greetings! Rpgmaker.net video game community presents Summoner of Sounds: A Community Journey in Video Game Music! Summoner of Sounds is a series of interactive community events where video game music will be celebrated by the means of craftsmanship and community interaction. Members of video game community with experience in music production will be dared to participate in challenges testing their ability to perform well as a versatile video game composer, while the game developers with other areas of expertise are encouraged to analyze the challenges, and provide the composers with commentary, feedback and constructive criticism. The RPG Maker Network offers an extensive network of gamers and game developers, both hobbyists and professionals. RMN will bring the participants visibility, and the yields of each challenge will be shared on RMN's social media during the course of the events. Summoner of Sounds series will be creating composers a portfolio, but it will also be creating the community a whole lot of great video game music! Everyone may also post ideas of any themes they would like to hear. If the ruleset permits, a composer may very well decide to compose your idea. This event series is designed to help the composers of the game development community come together, challenge their know-how and showcase their creative efforts, and the rest of the community to come in contact with the composers. Will you be able to take on the challenge? Can you become the Summoner of Sounds, or even something more? Check out our first challenge and hop right into the action at the Summoner of Sounds event page!
