  1. Hey guys, another contribution done by my Video Game Music collective REMEMBER CITADEL, this time turning the Main Theme of BF4 into a more Epic Rock version: Feel free to comment and stay updated by visiting our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/remembercitadelband/?ref=bookmarks Cheers Stefan of RemCit
  2. Hello everybody, REMEMBER CITADEL, Germany's only video game music collective band, is about to release its second four track EP. As an appetizer for the full thing we (or me, this time) put together a little music video of its first track, Old Friends, from the awesome Transistor soundtrack. Feel free to check it out, comment, and also leave a like at: https://www.facebook.com/remembercitadelband/

  4. This is it -- today is officially the 20th Anniversary of the Tomb Raider franchise. To celebrate, here's a rock ballad mix I've worked on since the very beginning of the year as a tribute to one of my all-time favorite video game franchises. HUGE thanks to @That Headband Guy, @mattmatrice and @IplaiGames for joining me on this project and making this track even more awesome with their perfomances, arrangements, mixing and mastering. And VERY special thanks to Eilaire (http://eilaire.deviantart.com/) for letting us use one of her cosplay pictures for visual support -- truly one of the most talented Lara Croft cosplayers out there. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOMB RAIDER!!
  5. So, the other day I got into a rather...heated discussion with a friend of mine. She claims that PCs aren't as good as Macs for music and video production, saying that the price is warranted because Macs put better components for such things in their machines. Now...I'm a diehard PC user; I've always enjoyed the customization that you can have with PCs and how you can upgrade parts if needed...even build one custom which I have recently. I just want to know if anyone has experience working with both, and if there is any merit to my friend's claim. I didn't dismiss her claim entirely because she and her husband have worked in the recording business for ~20 years and they said that from experience, Macs are better for the job. I'm of the opinion that a PC can do anything that a Mac can if the proper components are installed. Any thoughts from the community? Also, hi! Been a while since I dropped in here
  6. Hi, OC ReMix! This year, Lara Croft celebrates her 20th Birthday and, since the franchise only has one remix on OCR (the great 'Adventure Is in the Air' by EmptyMy), I thought it could be nice to offer the lady a second one just for the occasion. I actually started a piano arrangement of Peter Connelly's 'Theme' (from 'Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation') and was wondering if you guys could give me feedbacks so I can try to make it OCR worthy (if it is possible to ^^'). Bare in mind that the song was not humanized yet -- I'd like to have the whole composition right before I eventually start recording a real-life piano play. Original Version: Remix: I wouldn't mind collaborate with any of you if you think this WIP could actually fit another genre better -- like a rock ballad or somehting -- and would like to help with the transposition Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to you all!
  7. Yes, yes. I know. We're supposed to be getting Alex for this month. And I'm waiting for that heavily. But if it's an Alex concept you're looking for, Check out MaxieDaMan's concept here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KtVq...If any of you played 3rd Strike, you know that was the game to come home from school and start playing. While New Generation and 2nd Impact were good, the hugest mark left on us was by 3rd Strike. And with Urien and Alex joining the roster along with some returning cast, you know it's gonna be lit. 3rd Strike had some of the greatest music (Aside from the online remixes. Some of which were good and I enjoyed. You'll hear a bit of that here.).I'm gonna try and make a new theme every week. But I have a surprise in September for you guys. Keep watch.
  8. Since Street Fighter V is well on it's way to PS4 and PC in less than sixteen days, I decided to do a short little project and create a concept theme for a character in another Street Fighter Universe. Kairi Mizukami is a character (A favorite of mine, actually) from the Street Fighter EX series, which was born from the collaboration between Capcom and Arika. There are a lot of EX characters that I want to see return and hopefully, Arika decides to work with Capcom again later on down the line.In all honesty, I was thinking about doing a concept album for characters, EX and all, who aren't in the game. I don't know yet, depends on how people like this one. I wanted to capture the essence of SFV while still keeping the original sound of the EX series theme. Lemme know what you guys think.
  9. Hello all, Mass Effect 2 Soundtrack - Suicide Mission - Xbox 360 - PS3 - PC - Pixelizer REMIX with analog and modern sound. Good Listening ! Source:
  10. Hey OCR! It's Mykah here again! Thought I'd share my drum & bass remix of the galaxy map music from Mass Effect. As Shepherd would say "I'm Commander Shepherd and this is my favourite track in Mass Effect!" https://soundcloud.com/mykah/massively-effective-mass-effect Feedback, thoughts, comments are most welcome! - M
