trance Cloud Dweller - Orbital inspired Trance

Hey there guys. I recently finished this simple little trance track and thought I'd share it here for anyone who likes relaxing trance music. This track actually came about as I was playing with the Mandachord in the game Warframe. You can make silly little songs with it and play them in the game as a bard character to buff your allies. I also had Orbital on the mind as I was adapting my silly Mandachord song in to a full track, and this was the result. Of course, "adapting" is kind of a stretch here, since you can only make very basic loops with the Mandachord that are only four bars long with simple drums, a bass line, and a melody. You're also limited to a D-Minor Pentatonic scale and a BPM of 120 to boot, so the resulting "song" can only be so complex. But I see the limitation as an interesting challenge when I try to turn it in to a full track in FL Studio, so I enjoyed the process a lot. I've actually done another track like this in the past, which turned out a lot different from this one in terms of the song's overall tone. Anyway, I hope you like it. Feel free to lay out any criticisms you may have. I'm always open to it. -
Hey everyone! We are somewhat new to posting here, but wanted to share our latest track. I've been a long time lurker on OCR, but finally ready to start producing/submitting remixes. This is our first submission, which was submitted a few weeks ago. Would love any thoughts/comments/feedback on the mix! This is a remix of a really short/simple song in Breath of the Wild that plays at the Flight Range in the Hebra region. It's basically a more melancholy/chill take on Revali's theme. I was listening to it in game and got inspired to do a trance remix! I didn't initially think it was good enough to submit, but I showed it to Jewbei, one of my favorite trance remixers who I have been connected with on FB for years, and he liked it and encouraged me to submit and gave me some tips on my mix. So a BIG thanks to him for doing that! We hope it gets accepted, and even if it doesn't we will try again! Anyway, without further ado, here is our remix of "The Flight Range," which we have titled "Take Flight." I hope you like it and welcome any and all feedback and discussion! I play keys (jazz/soul/gospel styles mainly), guitar, and sing, as well as produce with the latest version of FL Studio. -
Hello again, OCR! Here's a new* remix from Legend of Mana that I just finished. * It started out as a loop back in 2008, made it a full length thing in 2015, and finished working on it now after putting it aside for... a year or so. What do you think? Cheers, Jonas

The youtube video has no fx and is basically unmastered. The soundcloud link below has a 320 kbps mp3 download of the final mix with FX. Took about 7 or 8 hours of my day yesterday.

I was thinking about Phoenix Wright music the other day so I wanted to just go at one and see what I came up with. I don't plan to add anything to it or do anything else to it but if you have any critiques they would still be appreciated for future reference. -

So, I'm back with my current Project. This Time i recording some individual stuff and i was trying, to bring my ideas in this Remix (then that was the Feedback from the Users on my last Project). I had fun to experiment with alot of Sounds and some new note sequences. But now, I'm interested on your Impressions guys! This Project is "work in progress", so i want to try to refine this Remix, with Feedback from you! Here is the Beta Version of this Remix: If you have some Ideas, critique, Impressions or whatever, so i would be glad if you write me your thoughts in a Post in this Thread ;). Hey everyone. So, this is my first remix... Ever. I've spent the past couple of weeks experimenting in FL Studio, and what began as a tutorial exercise quickly morphed into a Boomer Kuwanger remix without any real intention on my part. I feel comfortable posting this here because I feel it's in a better state (comparatively) than where the project was a week ago. I'm wanting some general feedback to see where I can improve. Obviously with this being my first big project there is a lot of noob-ish mistakes, some of which I probably don't even realize. The main things bugging me right now are the clap being "cheap" sounding, the lead possibly being overused, and the song in general not being "remix-y" enough. I'm still trying to fine tune the EQ, but it's a difficult task... Let me know what you all think. I'm open for any advice or critique. Just be gentle with the latter, please. lol Edit: Upped the volume of the intro and changed some of the EQ around to bring out the bass a little more. Evaluation Version: (09/29) -

Hey, guys! I just posted the first single from a forthcoming mini album that will be released this summer. I've been insanely busy mixing a certain alt rock album so I haven't been able to be active as platonist over the past year or so. But I'm back again 'cause the album is done (not released yet, but stay tuned?). Hi OCR ppl! I'd like some pointers on my newest WIP and, I give you a choice in which way to go on this. I'm in the process of remixing FF7's Anxious Hearts, but I can't really make a choice between two versions, so I thought I'd let you guys decide!
