  1. This is basically finished, but i wanna see what you guys think. I did it for a friend so i wasn't really intending on subbing it. I'm sure i'm gonna hear something about this, but i've never actually played Chrono Trigger before. I know its an awesome game, and this theme definitely has that RPG sound to it. I'm pretty sure its just called the Chrono Trigger Theme. I kinda want to do other themes from this game, it has an awesome soundtrack. Also, i'm not sure what to call this one. I hope i did it some justice. Source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIO1sajyx_o Remix:
  2. Hi everyone, new to the forums, great to be here Check out my works in FL, Dance/ Trance/ Game, many genres. All right here on my youtube channel. Thanks all =] http://www.youtube.com/user/jjamesdk Look forward to hearing from you all
  3. Training stage music shouldn't kick this much ass, but in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, it's one of my favorite tracks from the game. Well, here's my attempt to remix it and give it my own twist, which I think will be no easy feat considering how catchy the source already is. This started out as a remix for another game track, and that's actually the part you hear in the beginning. Guess what game it's from! By the way, I am using the (North American) instrumental version of the music. Old WIP Original source:
  4. I got tired of wating for Mr. C (halc) to update his one already. Lemme know what you think- I'm still debating what to do with this. http://www.mediafire.com/?ygtgzqomf31
  5. Here's my remix of Eagle's theme from Street Fighter. Yes, the first Street Fighter. This is the only game that had a proper theme for this character, as he's not as well-known. Though he still reappeared in Capcom vs. SNK 2 and in the handheld ports of Street Fighter Alpha 3. I'm still running a bunch of ideas around with this mix, but have a general feel for the progression already. I look forward to your feedback and requests WIP version 2 WIP version 1.1 Source music
  6. Hi there. I still haven't had the inspiration to finish that Scrap Brain Zone Remix that's floating around the workshop forum, but in the meantime here's a little upgrade on one of my old originals. I thought it had some potential and what do you know http://www.mikseri.net/playsong.php?id=415729&displ_lang=en Feedback is always welcome. The old version can be found on that page, down left is a list. The bass is something I need to work on at least...
  7. Hi I started working on this a couple of months ago. It’s remix of Battle #2 from Lufia II. I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished with this, especially since this is my first WIP. http://www.mediafire.com/?cojymym1zgj source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45uvU1ta8WE As of now there is no point in criticizing the production here. Remember it’s a demo, although some production tips would be appreciated. Also note that there is no actual guitar in there, it’s basically just a Synth running through a virtual amp. I am going to record some real guitars as soon as I’m relatively satisfied with the rest. hope you'll like it
  8. -The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages -Trouble on the Raft! -Original composition by Koji Kondo. -Game Boy Color. The only Not-Youtube place I have found it so far is here: http://www.thehylia.com/media/albums/mp3/ooa/2-10%20Trouble%20On%20The%20Raft!.mp3 Lol, wow. I forgot that? Really? Here: http://www.mediafire.com/?imzzk1zkdni This is my submission to the Essence of Lime album for the track "Trouble on the Raft." I never heard it on the game, but it must have been on the cartridge. I don't even know if it would pass submissions because of that, but whatever. I added a bit of Ocarina of Time into it and some of the main Zelda theme. I would just like feedback on it.
  9. I'm brand new here. People tell me my songs sound like game songs. I thought I'd run it across here and get some feedback. It's hosted here: http://www.mediafire.com/?mqyenmnnnjz
  10. Source:: "Token Tango." Remix:: Bash the Baddies [2:46] [Finished!] Original Composer:: David Wise Would anyone give it a listen? I'm still very new to music production. I posted another DKC2 remix in here about a month ago and got some really helpful feedback and constructive words. This song does have a segment that DKC2 players might recognize as "Swanky's Bonus Bonanza," but it's not. It just happens to be the same theme as the bonus intro segment. My main concern is, of course, the length, but I also am in love with those NES-sounding square synths. I don't know if I used too many or need more variety. Any help would be great! Thanks to anyone who reads this or posts
  11. Hi. I just thought I would post my latest work here. I would appreciate some feedback if you do listen, but just some exposure works for me too. http://soundcloud.com/feather/winterbreeze Thanks! =)
  12. I'm looking for feedback on this Halo remix which was inspired by the raw emotion found in many of the Halo trailers, including but not limited to: Halo Wars and the Halo live action trailer for ODST. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3S4mlzEybIA
  13. I was going for simple, relaxing, and laid back with this track (which it already kinda is), but I wanted to take it and shape it into a more of complete song. I really liked the style of the original, so I sought to improve it a bit. Any feedback is fine, I just mostly need opinions on the quality. Still need a name too. 14. Decided to do a generic techno remix of Laguna's theme ^^ http://www.fileupyours.com/view/218181/LagunaRemix_VerA1.mp3 Update 1 http://www.fileupyours.com/view/218181/LagunaRemix_VerA2.mp3 Update 2 http://www.fileupyours.com/view/218181/HoboKa_Mr_Machine_Gun_VerA3.mp3 here's link to the original, sorry for not posting earlier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2vpqd9gKXk
  15. I consider this more or less finished but am concerned about the production. So anything about style/structure/etc isn't really my concern, rather let me know what I should tighten/loosen in production and how it sounds on your soundsystems.

  17. hey! I'm back, lol! I've been sitting on this one for a while, waiting to find a good way to host it. For now, the song is called "Don't Blink" and is a remix of Zelda 1s dungeon. I'm not completely satisfied with the end, and there is a long repeating stretch early on, but that's because originally, this song had pseudo-rap lyrics, but I couldn't manage to record a decent take. I actually had a funny idea for the end: I noticed that the underworld theme actually sounds a lot like "Rock a bye baby, on the tree top" and thought it would be funny to end with that, sung kinda creepily. Anyways, this is what it sounds like now, but I'm ready to change it to get it accepted. ~Enjoy!
  18. Hello. I was listening to the artist Hol Baumann today and I got inspired to try to make something up his alley.I think I failed, but I am still pleased with my work. I titled it "The Great Onslaught" because it seemed like good battle music. Thanks to those who listen and many thanks to those who give me feedback. http://soundcloud.com/feather/the-great-onslaught
  19. Hi. This is a downtempo track. (correct me if I can't call this downtempo o_o) I threw it together in about 12 hours today (I'm slow). Take a listen and give feedback if you will. I named it "Sewer Rats" because while listening to it... those sewer rats (as you may find them in certain old school RPGs) came to mind. http://soundcloud.com/feather/sewer-rats Thanks. =)
  20. Hello. I joined this site maybe 2 days ago. I've known about it for a long time but I never really considered the idea of remixing VGM seriously. I briefly looked in the request section to see if I could challenge myself and/or learn more about music-making in the process and came across a request for Area 88 Thundercloud. I'm a fan of the music from UN Squadron so I decided to try to take it on. I've only been working on it a few hours between the last 2 days and I'm not exactly sure where I want to go with the song, but I'd like some feedback on what I have so far. I only laid out the first "half" of the song so far. I'm mainly just laying down the main parts and trying to figure out ways to make things different enough to possibly get on the site right now. The final song could sound completely different from this based on personal feelings and feedback from this thread. Area 88 - ThunderCloud Remix (Work in Progress by Alphadeus) Original Version on YouTube (as linked by requester) Thanks for listening.
  21. I just thought I'd post this here for feedback. And I'm prepared for the worst, so don't hold back. Also, I don't have a name for it yet sooo... http://www.mediafire.com/?kwyenjwuak2
  22. Check Out More of my demos @ http://www.youtube.com/numberoneblind Check Out My NEW Stage Theme's For Cody and Juli and Juni !!!
  23. Greetings~ I recently created this it's nowhere near final, at least I don't think so. This is my a slower remix of Sonic Heroes' Casino park, which is a little more upbeat and chaotic. The link for the original song is here: EDITv3: Okay here it is: Comments...I need them to be very constructive. If you gotta be harsh, be harsh by all means. If you would like to re-touch on what I stated above, do so, because then I know what I need to prioritize. Thanks for taking your time to listen and criticize. Here's hopes to an awesome remix for everyone! <3
  24. Hello people! A few weeks ago I had a sudden spark of inspiration and started composing a soundtrack to an imaginary movie/series based on Dan Simmons's Hyperion books. It's still very much a work in progress, but check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_i1Srxi-y8
  25. One of my latest dub creations. Drop some feedback please! I'm also working on a Chrono Trigger Robo Dub in the WIP section for videogame mixes. Check it out! Rising Tide
