  1. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qGNPmPzMfPGy2Wca5EoSDSAqfJoV2Po6 Hi all! I worked on this mix over the past day, and I've spent most of today editing it. It's pretty bare right now, but the basic structure is there. 2. Here's a pretty straightforward metal cover of Undertale's MEGALOVANIA (as if there weren't enough of those). I did one years ago but this one came out much, much better, though admittedly I did rush it as I recorded most of it in a day. I really like the mixing/mastering on this one and any feedback on that aspect is appreciated. SoundCloud:
  3. I've been playing around with Battery 4 a little and ended up making a short remix of the Oil Ocean Zone from Sonic 2. Original: https://youtu.be/Ih8c6I1zH7I Remix: It came out pretty decent, but I'm not sure about submitting it. I may add more later. Check it out!
  4. Hey all, first remix here. I've tried re-imagining Sonic's Casino Night Zone with a more "adult" lounge/VIP feel. I don't have a lot of experience working with this genre so any input is appreciated! Original Track Remix
  5. Hey everyone, new guy here! I figured I might as well post some of my stuff here, I know it's pretty old, and technically not from a video game but I figured it was video game related so here goes (Also, enjoy the weird key change during the guitar solo haha) Source:
  6. I've been working on this recently. Let me know what you think! Remix: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XkaAJP1Q8KtW-Mig_621BV031FcpN_xJ/view?usp=sharing Original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N_PXTGdlGw
  7. Hello there, I was looking through the Deltarune OST and came across a short track that I thought could turn into something cool if expanded upon. And so, I ended up doing some expansion. Here is the result: I would love to hear your thoughts or criticisms! (Original Track)
  8. I emailed the submission in correctly, I will post the video here in a few for a review. Phantasy Star IV: Air Castle Arranged Remix This took me a LONG time to finish up and put together. X'3 My Youtube name is Kuta9000 by the way and it's my first remix. Source: If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask. If something needs to be fixed with my arranged remix let me know. I worked too hard to find out super late that my remix got a few errors in it!
  9. Arab style ethno cover \ remix on ''Peace of Mind'' of Biohazard. With female sampled vocals.
  10. Listen to Hydro City (H0us3C0rP3 Remix) by DJ H0us3C0rP3 #np on #SoundCloud
  11. Everybody Super Sonic Racing! I am looking for singers who want to help with vocals on this track so i don't have to use a spot holder. The vocals are currently being covered by a simple Saw till i can get my hands on the vocals for this song as I can not do this song justice with my singing voice. The final will not have the Saw in it and obviously an actual ending.
  12. Hello everyone! It's been a while, hasn't it? This is sort of a calming/meditation/whatever remix that I am doing of the "Hope, Isolation, Pray" theme from Seiken Densetsu 3. I started this on a really long time ago, and I kinda got to a point where I was stuck and I eventually gave up on it in favor of some other projects. Today, I stumbled across it while looking for some other files, and I decided to give it another try now since I have better sounding samples and whatnot. This mix is meant to feel kinda airy and empty at first, and then build up slowly. I'm trying to decide where I should go with it, so it does cut off abruptly. Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think. Any feedback is helpful. Thanks
  13. Aquatic Ambience with some added original melodies. Little bit of lo-fi, but more of a standard hip-hop / trap tune. Enjoy!
  14. Star Stealing Princess of Zeal Artist - EchoGhost616 Very VERY rough version, no where near complete. Drums are definitely not concrete, just threw a beat in to help myself. Trying to get a bit of feed back. Thanks guys!
  15. I wanted to stay close to the original melody but create still a clearly new version, hope you guys enjoy it!
  16. Hey everybody! I've just completed a new orchestral arrangement. It's a Battle Medley from a number of Legend of Zelda games. It contains music from Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time. The piece is a collection of music from Boss Battles, including a climax to the big Ganondorf fight, with some other incidental music thrown in to provide transitions. It was made with Sibelius 7 and NotePerformer. Please enjoy!
  17. Hello All! So I've created an album of some of my favorite video game music remixed into hip hip tracks. Each track has lyrics based on the video game where the music is from. Gamers can appreciate and everyone else can enjoy! I'll also post a link to the whole album, but my favorites are: 1 - At the Bar (Streets of Rage); 2- N'Sane (Crash Bandicoot); and 4 - Princess Ruto (Legend of Zelda) Would these be good for submitting? 18. ORIGINAL M. BISON THEME HERE
  19. Hello everyone! I've been working on this remix of the Rotten Vale theme for the past few days, and for once, it came together really quickly (~10-15 hours rather than the 60h++ I usually spend on tracks). I know I suck at mixing/mastering, but what do you think about it? https://soundcloud.com/julienmulard/the-heaviest-monster-of-the-vale-v1/s-0Jp7R The original version can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFBXcl6FW6M About the track: I wanted to remix a track from the Monster Hunter games for years, as it's one of my favourite video game series. And when I heard this track the first time hunting in the Rotten Vale in MHW, I knew I found a solid candidate for a remix of my own Regarding the source, this remix focus on the very first riff and on the "heroic/epic" melody (starting at around 1:35). I used a few other parts as well, but without really trying to keep the original structure of the piece, as I felt some of the part were not conveying the right energy. So this is a rather liberal reinterpretation of my favorite parts of the source rather than a "by the book" cover. I had a strong Arch Ennemy vibe from the "heroic" theme, so I went into that direction. The track in general has a strong melodic death/metalcore vibe. The thing I am the less confident about, from a composition point of view, is the weird clean guitar/cello part near the end of the track, wich is clearly a reference to the song Nemesis from Arch Ennemy. If you find it out of place, I am open to suggestions regarding how to make this part better Thank you for your feedback, and have a great day!
  20. So I used to play Top Gear to death as a kid, and its composer Barry Leitch used heavy arpeggio and really influenced my own style, when I think about it. I was in the mood this time for some overcompressed dance music and this particular theme from the first track of the game (or each four-race country cup in the game) happened to be stuck in my head. Mostly I left the original tune intact, except for some artistic license here and there; I added harmony when there wasn't before, a little pitch bend at times as an accent, kind of embellished on the original percussion track, and I tried to make the bass synth sound like a car engine in a few spots. I did fire up my old cart and play it for a little while. Top Gear was pretty much just a rehash of the Lotus series from the Amiga and Genesis, I think. It was a decent racing game for its time, but Top Gear 2 and especially Top Gear 3000 were better games, and I feel are both severely overlooked. Honestly I've spent many, many hours on this already, and it's pretty much done, but I could use some feedback regarding production (I have some minor hearing damage that makes production notably more difficult.) 21. To Zanarkand is of course quite an iconic tune, but I wanted still to try and create my own version of it. Here I went for quite minimalistic and atmospheric take with really jazzy / weird harmonies intentionally at the end to make a clear outbreak from the original. Hope you guys enjoy it!
  22. Hello all, This is a remix of the level BGM 'SCOURGE' from the indie game They Bleed Pixels. The version here is the edit that is used in-game I've got it in a state I would consider as "finished" in that I'm happy with it and it has a coherent start-to-finish, but I would like to try getting it ready for submission soon and would like some feedback. I'll disclose that this will be my first time attempting to do so and, while I'm not especially experienced making music yet or have very sophisticated tools, I do understand a lot of the tenets of production quality and as long as you're clear explaining any problems or flaws you might be hearing, I'll do my best to fix them. Thanks in advance. https://soundcloud.com/coeurlamari/they-bleed-pixels-scourge-remix-clawshank-redemption If you would prefer I use a different platform than SC to post this, please let me know.
  23. So This is the most recent version. I think it's at a point where I'd consider submitting it. I'd just like to get some final feedback and confirmation. My biggest concern is just that my remix might sound too stiff and mechanical (like as far as the beat and timing). Does it need a bit of humanization? I can't really tell if it does, myself. And if it does, I'm not sure how to go about properly fixing it. Any help at all is appreciated! I'd just like to get some advice and criticism regarding stuff the overall sound quality, synth choices, and general composition. I'd really like to submit this for judging sometime, so I want to make sure I've taken care of all the little details to make it good and polished. A couple specific concerns I had involved the drums and synth I used at 2:10. I want to make sure the drums aren't sounding too repetitive and that transitions between sources are smooth enough. The problem with the synth is just preference, really. Does it actually sound good to other people? I like it, personally, but at the same time, I don't know if it fits the mood of the track. Let me know if anything sounds weird. Any feedback is appreciated. 24. I remixed this theme because of how darn catchy it is. I wanted to do more with it so I added a little bit of a melody at the end. 25. Some time ago I wanted to propose a short Xenogear short film based on its own time after the events of Xenogear. I had to deal with other things and decided to launch the Cinematic version of the Faraway Promise melody that corresponds to the animation. Soon I will release said short film. Enjoy.
