  1. Been a while, Quarantine boredom has brought back all my old bad habits, including messing around with FL. It's not quite up to modern OCR standards but I had fun making it. Tips on production are welcome. If the lockdown continues I might try another. 2. This arrangement is the First part of the Staff Roll of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and the song "Transatlantism" by Death Cab for Cutie smashed together. It seemed like a clever idea, but I'd like to know if this works or if it's too slow and/or boring. Source Tracks: My arrangement: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nFy2hvu_NGzPGG1LkO6Sftr9rTuNPzIS/view?usp=sharing Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Hi everyone, Long time fan of the site (14 years+), first time poster. I wanted to have the dread with 'X the Legend' from the Megaman Zero games but kept hearing bits of 'Raise Thy Sword' from Soul Calibur II in my head as I would hum the melody to see what I might have been missing. This idea started with hearing Jay Reichard's version of X The Legend on VGMusic and realizing it could work as a great base to further studies for harmonies. (Long story short, was a vocalist studying opera, but had an injury that derailed that. So composition isn't my strongest point.) I worked i
  4. Hi OCRemix - I'm looking for some feedback on a remix I'm working on for the Underground Sewers theme from Chrono Trigger. I knew from the start that I wanted to try to remix this track with an EDM/clubby feel. I wanted a build-up into the overall theme of the track. Now that I've gotten the main melody down, I've hit a roadblock on what to do next. Any thoughts you can share would mean a ton to me Some things I'm struggling with now: Creatively approach - I've only got about a minute of the track so far, debating whether to find a new song to add to the remix or repeat some
  5. Here’s a piece I’ve been working on. It proved a little tricky with the number of different instruments so I’d be curious to hear any opinions on how it turned out. Thanks for listening!
  6. Original in-game track: Hey there! I was hoping to get feedback on this metal cover of Death Egg Zone from Sonic 2 I just did. It was my second video game cover and I remembered this site from when I was much younger, and thought maybe it could stand to be considered worthy of OC Remix. Please, tell me what you think and if I should submit it for review here! (Also I have a Ristar cover from three weeks ago if you're interested -- also on my YouTube channel)
  7. Hello! I'm back with another chill track for your consideration, though this one is a bit wonkier. I've always loved the Mario Party music and figured I'd do a take on the song that gets stuck in my head the most, "Play A Mini-Game" from the original Mario Party. Please let me know your thoughts, in particular with regards to the EQ. Thanks! 8. A trap/orchestral remix of the Among Us main theme. There was so little material to work with, but I like what I came up with
  9. Hi there. Just one question guys - is this track too hardcore for OCRemix? Thanks.
  10. So in an attempt to challenge myself and prove my insanity, I took David Wise's Haunted Chase and somehow someway turned it into a German Polka. I threw in Grant Kirkhope's Creepy Castle from DK64 too. This WAS NOT EASY to turn from Minor key to a Major key. But I did it. Somehow. and now...in retrospect...I ask why? I also made a music video...With puppets. That I built. Music Video: I also literally bought a German alpine VST just for this cover. HUGE THANKS to Luis Vasquez for Mixing/Mastering this stupidity. This is really my first legit professional (?) remix
  11. That's my first ReMix. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19sXKn5D45eJtQriFXC2rlY-muYS6nSp6/view?usp=sharing It's medley of various tracks from Sonic Drift 2, like "Title", races, jingles and "Credits".

  13. Hi Again Got a new remix, Izayoi from the Shiboi 3 Soundtrack. Its always been one of my favourites. Here's hoping i can do it justice. I'd love any feedback or criticism on the mix, composition, arrangement etc. Thanks for your Time!! Remix: Original:
  14. Super Street Fighter 2 - T Hawk Theme Remix (UPDATED) Hi! Hoping to get some feedback on this remix ive done. I'm mostly done with it but i'm trying to polish it up. Some questions. Is it too busy, cluttered sounding? Is it too bass heavy? I tried a brighter variant with more mids and went back to this. The instrumentation ok? Also if you spot any faux pas in there that ive missed, let me know and i'll argue that it was intentional :P Thanks for the advice, ive made some small updates.less swing, levels on pads changed in places. added some definition to the lead sound (
  15. Hello everyone, I have made a medley of the three American fighters from Street Fighter II (Balrog, Ken, and Guile). I thought it might be appropriate as this time of year seems to get overlooked in themes, but I also don't want to overshadow the reason for the season. Thanksgiving is traditionally and American holiday, so I thought I'd bring in an anthem worthy of a world warrior. I'm happy to be in a position to submit for feedback as I am pretty proud of how this has turned out so far. Thank you for listening. Source: Balrog Ken Guile
  16. A remix from a game that's not out yet... Why not? This song has lot of sentimental value to me cos this teaser song from Deltarune Chapter 2 (if that is what it's called) was released to Twitter by Toby Fox around the time my firstborn son was born. I had the idea for this cover/remix all the way back then, but because of the family situation the music making needed to take a backseat. Took me 10 months but better late than never, right? Musically I am in my comfort zone here - heavy but melodic - but I wanted to have a pretty faithful remix from the beginning and then go to my ow
  17. This was difficult to do solely because it's in 3/4 and trying to program drums in 3/4 is for whatever reason rather difficult for me. Thank you for looking!
  18. I think it's mostly done, but I'm new to music production still(about 1 year experience). This is my first post hear, although this site changed my life years and years ago when I had first discovered video game remixes!
  19. Would this be a solid track for the OCR community? It's already out on several media platforms and I've mostly heard good feedback. https://open.spotify.com/track/2nb5W939A6LYxH8ks0lEdj?si=nTA9QaE6SKGA3PmrJw3zXQMin
  20. Hi, Here is a piano arrangement of Final Fantasy 8 - Spy. Style a little jazzy, with rhythm more marked than my usual works. And a lot a dissonances. NEW VERSION : Original here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txs-MnMiP2w I was in difficulty to keep the tempo. I've for this corrected some mistakes. I think it can't be heard, I hope so Any feedbacks is welcome !
  21. Here's a song very commonly remixed. I used 3 different subgenres to remix this. It's a mix of psytrance/house/drum and bass. Thank you for looking!
  22. Hi there, I made an orchestral medley consisting of Area 6, Venom Airspace, and Space Armada from Starfox. Enjoy! Starfox Orchestral Medley
  23. New version out now! I tried making varying the velocities as well as adding some instruments to better suit the softer parts. I think I'm ready for review now! The idea behind this remix was to recreate one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite games. I always wondered what the Objection song wound sound like with some more oomph, so I tried it out myself. Libraries: Hollywood Strings, Hollywood brass, ProDrummer Old versions: Version 1 Source
  24. Salutation everyone! Please, listen to the last version: V6, now with REAL GUITARS bits in it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/144o313TO7cJql9JJuTRYo57A90Qqlkku/view?usp=sharing Every time I start a new track, I think about the story it will tell. Concerning this one, it's kind of a crossover between The Matrix and the original story of the game: the hacker Link tries to hack into the JANUS system to find answers. The thing is, nothing goes according to plan... Regarding the arrangement, I was inspired by different sources, such as Master Boot Record, The Algorithm or to som
  25. Hi there! I made an arrangement for Strikers 1945 II - Battle of Extreme North There has been some time since I played or recorded guitar, but this one got my fire back. Here is the original soundtrack:
