  1. In an attempt to try and hone in on some of my areas of improvement, I'm dragging out some fairly dusty projects out. This one was a track for a stage in a fanmade game, a friend's project of making a MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena, think League of Legends or DOTA) game based on the popular webcomic called Homestuck. I was requested to compose some remixes of various tracks from the comic and supplemental albums for the game. This one is a rendition of Core of Darkness, a track by Jeremy "Solatrus" Iamurri, and is the track for the Derse stage. Derse, for the uneducated, is a purple moon whose orbit brings it around the outer rim of the knowable universe and dangerously close to a place in space where cosmic horrors hang out. Not a very nice place. http://tindeck.com/listen/xstlw And the original track, for comparison: https://homestuck.bandcamp.com/track/core-of-darkness Feedback would be very much appreciated, and even though the project for which this track was made has since been lost to the ages, I'm using it as a springboard to help further my proficiency in music production.
