  1. So I started this one yesterday. I recently hooked up my Xbox 360 again and started playing Sega GT Online, which contains the entire Sega GT 2002 soundtrack (along with some pretty meh new licensed tracks), and boy, have I forgotten how amazing this soundtrack is! So I was playing the game with this particular track on repeat and felt super inspired to do a take on it: I've been wanting to get better at EDM, and I could totally hear this track as a WipEout-style track, with shades of Ridge Racer in it, so here's my first WIP! WIP 1: Off The Grid Off The Grid 1.5.mp3 This track will absolutely skew longer, but I'm going to do my absolute best to make sure it's interesting all the way through, and not just some repetitive 8 minute long nothing. I hope it's already clear that I plan for this track to completely evolve all the way through. I haven't even gotten to the super melodic part of the source track yet, which is my favourite section Anyways, check it out and let me know what you think so far!
  2. With this music I won the demoscene remix category of the 2023 Arok Party.
  3. The Complete all in one mix of my Destruction Derby Remix Project. Something that has been in the back of my head for a very long time, I thought it was time to get it out of my system. My tribute/remixed version of the entire Destruction Derby soundtrack for the PlayStation, originally produced by Elliot Sumner and Tim Swan back in 1995. I've tried to keep the feel of the original early 90s rave style intact while also bringing it into the present day. Furthermore, I really enjoyed making this project, and I hope you like what I've put together. For great nostalgia! Let's go back to Christmas 1995! (Or whenever you bought this game) Game Developed by Reflections Interactive and released by Psygnosis in 1995 on PlayStation, Saturn and MS-DOS Original Music Composed by Tim Swan & Elliott Sumner / Remixed, Rearranged and additional production by Xendraven
  4. Remade this all from the ground up and worked obsessively for the last handful of days with it. Any suggestions for improvement are very welcome! c: Soundcloud!
  5. Ready to have your face melted into oblivion via sonic decimation? The type of sounds you will hear are in the vein of the TB-303 and the Access Virus. Here is WIP 3 of Acidity! It's an acid synth fest with additional distorted synths.
  6. Hello! My name is Andrew and I'm working on a techno project that's largely influenced by video game soundtracks from the 90s and early 00s, namely Fluid for the PS1, Tetrisphere for the N64, and a few later games like Jet Set Radio and F-Zero GX. I've been having a lot of fun with this project but I've really fallen in love with the low quality, spacey element of that era of video game soundtracks, and I can't seem to recreate that sound quite the way I'd like with the tools I have. Does anyone have any leads on VSTs, or sample packs even, that might be in line with music for that era? Even just info on the synths used to make the original soundtracks might be helpful. I'm looking particularly for samples similar to the drum machine a lot of games on 5th generation consoles use, such as this: https://youtu.be/eb7fgzp6Hiw Also any leads on good atmospheric pads that are reminiscent of that era would be super helpful!
  7. A little remix I did of the intro of a Super Nintendo video game called Top Gear 3000. I loved playing this game and I think everyone that also enjoyed it can agree, the music was pretty awesome. I just had fun with remixing it since music is a hobby of mine. I was hoping to give it a darker feel to try to hype up the listener and put you in the seat of an alien death race. Haha. Well I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think!
  8. Hi guys. I've been visiting this site for ages and decided to throw my hat in the ring. I've given the BGM of Duke Nukem's Hollywood Holocaust a late 90s rave / acid treatment. I hope you guys enjoy it!
  9. Here is the original song I'd like to hear this to be updated, since I think this is a genre of Jazz to be similar like this song There's been an official remix for the remake of the game but I think they absolutely butchered it ^ That's a not how I'd like it to be remixed I guess. A specific request is that please keep the vocals in and don't obscure it.
  10. The youtube video has no fx and is basically unmastered. The soundcloud link below has a 320 kbps mp3 download of the final mix with FX. Took about 7 or 8 hours of my day yesterday.
  11. I was thinking about Phoenix Wright music the other day so I wanted to just go at one and see what I came up with. I don't plan to add anything to it or do anything else to it but if you have any critiques they would still be appreciated for future reference.
  12. So, I'm back with my current Project. This Time i recording some individual stuff and i was trying, to bring my ideas in this Remix (then that was the Feedback from the Users on my last Project). I had fun to experiment with alot of Sounds and some new note sequences. But now, I'm interested on your Impressions guys! This Project is "work in progress", so i want to try to refine this Remix, with Feedback from you! Here is the Beta Version of this Remix: If you have some Ideas, critique, Impressions or whatever, so i would be glad if you write me your thoughts in a Post in this Thread ;). Im not completely satisfied with all in this Remix, but i was totally interested to know, what you thinking about this Remix. I hope on a few good Impression from you guys ! Greetings Matzino
  13. I am a little surprised that the original outrun game got remixes but outrun 2019 never got any. I mean hell, not even youtube has anything. So here I am making a request. I would like to see tracks 3, and 4 remixes. Named "Steal into the night" And "Relight my fire." I may sound a little weird, as I'm asking for a remix, but not entirely a remix, more like a modern facelift. What they might sound like had they been created with todays tech, rather than what they had in the genesis era. Steal into the night: this I could see being rather well done in in more of a techno feel. Have a little fun with it, but I'd like it to feel closeer to the original than a whole new song. Relight my fire. This one feels like it would be better suited to a more real instrumental theme, I can't quite place the 'main' instruments and what they were trying to emulate, be it more brass, or string. Again I'd like it if it was kept close to home, not straying far from the original. Sorry if this feels totally useless for guidance.
  14. Hi! I'd like to post a request for a remix of the tracks "main theme" and "cyber tube" from the game The Lawnmower Man on SNES. If you do them, I'll love you forever! Thanks a lot OC Remixers!
