  1. Hey guys, his is my cover of "Bonds of Sea and Fire" from Xenogears, composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. This is also my entry to the #SoundoleChillOut2018 contest! I originally wanted to do something more "chill" but during the arrangement i felt the need to fill a bit the drums and to add a bit of EDM arpeggios or distorted lead guitar. So it's maybe not the most relaxing thing, but i tried to use a bunch of reverb to keep that "chill" vibe. So we are curently working on a XenoGears album with the Pixel Mixers, i'm working on 2 other Xeno songs for the album, but i wanted to use Soundole's contest to work on a 3rd one, cause, you know, i love that OST so much (it's my favourite Mitsuda's work). Been re listening to some Enigma (New Wave/Chill band) and they use lots of percussions and sometimes distortion guitar but the whole mix and atmosphere of the song makes it chill, that's what i tried to achieve here!
  2. Hello to OCREMIX Community. This is Marcel Gherman alias Megatone, a musician and prose writer. I wish to present you my album Realms of The Cosmic Tree, in the style of old school Japanese fantasy RPG games. The album is inspired by my science-fiction modular novel Multiverse and my cycle of fantasy prose Chroinicles of Pandava. Last track on the album is a short fragment from an audiobook based on my fantasy story The Path to Avalonia. Enjoy! https://archive.org/details/arboruniversalis
  3. HI FRIENDS!! I attempted an electronic upbeat remix of Xenogears - Singing of the Gentle Wind. While the original is a peaceful serenade, I chose to give it life (and drums, for that matter). My main approach was to stay true to the main theme, while adding a couple original sections and straying from the chord progression at points with some dissonance. Looking for a mod evaluation overall, but specifically can hope you can help me improve the following: Balance of instruments Panning More/less SFX Making the song more exciting Thanks so much and any feedback is appreciated! Context: If you're a Xenogears fan, the original track is the main theme of Nisan. My remix: Original Track:
  4. A symphonic EP combining the stories of Chrono Cross and Xenogears into one musical journey, Xeno Cross is now available to listen in its entirety on YouTube. There is over 30 minutes of music, and the album can be downloaded on Loudr.fm, iTunes, and Amazon. It's a follow-up to the Chrono Trigger album, Chrono Cinematica, and a final tribute to the music of Yasunori Mitsuda. Thanks for listening!
  5. Xenogears - One Who Bares Fangs At God/Xenosaga - Last Battle Hey all, here's a little mashup I made of two of my favorite Yasunori Mitsuda tunes
