electric concerto Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 Sonic Adventure - Theme of "Tikal" Tikal's Sacrifice Sonic Adventure has always been host of one of my most favorite OSTs. I got a Dreamcast just for this game. I have always been a big Sonic fan and probably will always be one. The remix is the theme from one of the NP characters in the game, Tikal. She is most seen as the guidance ball of light you see hanging around in the levels. She only makes her appearance during the Chaos flashbacks. I decided to go with a Tribal Trance style as it seem to fit the most. UPDATE HISTORY: Initial update: Released an alpha version. Update 2: Finished the beta version. Update 3: Fixed some sound problems and added some more. Update 4: Released an English version. Update 5: Corrected the Japanese translation (It was jibberish before...) Update 6: Changed the last section to remove the repetitiveness. Lyrics updated. It was always one of my favorite themes in Sonic Adventure. I'm definitely loving the vocal portion of this song. Anyways, keep up the work on this remix. If anyone's enjoying it, it's me. I'm currently listening to this (English Version) through laptop speakers so to comment on production issues would be unwise until my mega headphones of great audio quality are applied to this, however, as far as the arrangement goes I am very happy. It is a bit of a strange mix of styles, very OCReMix. I really like it though and think the arrangement hangs together well.
