To get there, you just need to take the Shore Parkway/Belt Parkway, and get off at the Coney Island exit. I'm sure that plenty of people there use a parking garage which is pretty expensive in any one's case. Of course it all depends on how early it starts. Coney Island just has a lot of people coming and going, so relying on street parking is not a great idea. Everybody confirm if they're a definite, maybe or no for this event and Bahamut should edit the first post with more details. I am a maybe. I do not really like the beach. Rumor has it that someone is trying to buy out Coney Island to build a casino/hotel, so this may be the last summer Coney Island is running. I've been looking for an excuse to come to NYC 1 more time this summer... Sweet! You can put me up as tentative for that date. The best part about Coney Island IMO are the open-air arcades. DDR machines galore and once I even saw a Sonic The Fighters there! Are we going to do the Coney Island Aquarium? It's nice, but I'm not sure if it'll be worth our time. But only for a coupla hours, and it looks similar tomorrow: when mid-to-late afternoon rolls around, thunderstorms could be isolated. Beach-going is out, but we might still manage outside activity.
