So, in Iwata's clarification of the 'storage solution,' he confirmed it is just the ability to download directly to the SD card and not loading from the SD card. Beyond pointless, given how slow the transfer rate is.

Well, it's not like actual code is being stored on the game cartridge itself. Still, you would of thought the people would backed up the original code. I still think that argument is dumb, because the Wii uses emulators and the emulators that have been out for over a decade are able to play almost any game. If a nerd in a basement can do it, I'm pretty sure an entire frikking software firm can do it.
