I was thinking of making a remix to Sheena's theme from Tales of Symphonia cause I love it so much, and whenever I was thinking of the arrangement, I couldn't help but get naruto's theme stuck in my head too, and then I realized that the flute part in part of naruto's theme sounded really familiar to sheena's theme flute too... kinda, and was wondering if anyone else had noticed this..? sheena's theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCrOa9BJciY Naruto theme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIloiN6zDSw (it happens around :50 of this video) and speaking of two songs that sound similar, this made me laff and cry: (and no i dont mean to roll you guys) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Damned Posted October 21, 2008 Share Posted October 21, 2008 I think there's some sort of Japanese culture thing where ninjas have to play the flute when they're not flipping out and killing people. I think I've seen some old Japanese movies, set in the pre-Meiji era, where swordsmen and assassins are always holding/using some sort of symbolic non-fighting item, and musical instruments are common. It was a long time ago, so I'm not sure. I do recall some story about a policeman and how a ninja o something with a pinwheel was always helping him. Which reminds me...back in the day I was a huge Soul Calibur 2 player, and the "ninja" stage in that game had some similar music to naruto and sheena. The track is "Brave sword, Braver soul".
