If you make a good avatar and you want it custom, it still has to be a 32x32 maximum GIF, you have to make it yourself, and I've gotta approve it. I submitted a full set when Liontamer was taking submissions before the switch to vBulletin. But yeah, they weren't cleaned up because I failed at Photoshopping and cropping. I was in the same boat when I first joined. I really wanted to use the Terry Bogard avatar, but I already associated it with Instrument of GAWD, so I used Marco from Metal Slug for a while instead.
